Far as I know, this has never in history been done before. What POSSIBLE reason can she give? The "security" reason has already been debunked.
Trump should point out the facts, that he was invited well before the “shutdown” and that her antics are wholly political.
Hold the SOTU locally in DC. Convention Center, Kennedy Center (fun!) or the like. Invite everyone. Make it look to the cameras similar to the House chamber.
Keep an empty chair behind him for Nancy. Remind the audience repeatedly that she refuses to negotiate to open the government. Rally the country to flood the phone banks again. Offer a short term federal loan program to those on furloughed. Hit the new House members and find one or two moderates.
Call it SOTU (networks will have to cover it) and just blast them.
She should have let this one go. Every day the Democrats refuse to negotiate, the stronger Trump’s hand becomes.
Now is time for McConnell to change the rules in the Senate to pass that budget bill by 51 votes.
Deliver it in the Senate. Make the House sit in the visitors Gallery. If they don’t fit TS.
The Constitution only says that the SOTU is to be given TO the Congress. It doesn’t say anything about where it is to take place, or how it is to be delivered.
The Rats are fine with putting modern interpretations on the Constitution, so they shouldn’t have cause to object if the SOTU is delivered via modern means such as TV.
Members of Congress are not required to be present for the SOTU, so they shouldn’t be required to watch the TV presentation. Many won’t.
Trump should deliver the address at a time and place of his choosing. And he should refuse to do it in the House chamber, regardless of what Pelousy says.

Nancy Pelosi has let her political party loyalty replace her national loyalty. She is essentially exhibiting actions that unquestionably reveal she is unfit to serve in the House of Representatives, much less lead it.
I just called my (unfortunately, Democrat) Congresswoman and asked that she call Pelosi on this to let her know that the American people are not going to stand for any Speaker of any party “blocking” the President from giving a SOTU address.

Trump can speak from the senate. He can have 2 chairs behind him, one for Pence and one for Pelosi. One will be empty - it will remind many of the Clint Eastwood speech.
Trump just said they will do something in the alternative and will be telling us at a later date.

I’m seriously concerned about Pelosi’s mental status. She obviously is having some psychological issues. Delusion, aggression, etc. Perhaps it’s time to remove her from the House as she could be a danger to her country. Where are the men in the white jackets when you need them?
Do it in the senate. Have VP Pence and Leader McConnell sitting behind. Do not give advance copy to Democrats or media. No Pelosi. Being out of the spotlight will crush her.
