Murder a 8 month pregnant woman and you are tried for double murder and sympathy goes out to them both. Now a woman can kill her baby minutes before birth and this is state sanctioned.

Then murder the baby (but not Mom) minutes after birth and you are tried for murder. Besides the sheer magnitude of immorality and depravity, it all makes absolutely zero logical sense.

Why do they stop there? I suppose that they want us to get used to it before they go further.

 

Going "further" will be the natural progression. It'll escalate up from the "unviable", to the "unproductive" of society, those who don't fit in, are opponents, and finally those who are considered enemies. We've seen this movie before, in other places.

Whatever happened to the Left’s adoration of science. New York State by legislative fiat has just defined a human being as only being post birth. This goes against every advance in biological and neurological science in the last 40 years. Add in the fact that as far as I know no human female has ever given birth to a non human. New York State has simply voted to allow the public commission of thousands of murders every year. I live here, have all my life. I am too old to leave but I will encourage my daughter to do so.
