Fox News Special Report anchor Bret Baier and his family were in a severe car accident while vacationing in Montana over the weekend.
“After a weekend of skiing with my wife and two boys in Montana, driving to the airport Monday morning on icy roads, we were involved in a major car crash. Thanks to a man driving by named Zach who stopped and helped, we were able to climb out of the flipped car. And thanks to the first responders and Montana Highway Patrol – we made it to the hospital quickly. We are very grateful to all of those who helped us out," Baier released in a statement Tuesday morning. "My advice to everyone is to always wear your seatbelt and to count your blessings everyday. I tweeted this out as we left the hospital banged up, but alive. — ‘Don’t take anything for granted – every day is a blessing and family is everything. It’s always good to remind yourself of that before something does it for you.’”

The news of the crash was first announced by Late Show host Stephen Colbert Monday night. Baier was scheduled to be on his show tonight.
“We just found out that he and his family were in a car accident in Montana. Bad, like, jaws of life to get him out of there. They’re all in the hospital but they’re going to be okay. And we just want to say: we hope you’re doing better,” Colbert said.
We wish Bret and his family a healthy and speedy recovery.
Im sorry to hear that. I hope they all are ok.
Was Prince Phillip driving?
Prayers up for the whole family. I wonder if they were driving a SUV and that’s what kept them from suffering more serous injuries. I’m now on my fourth Navigator and can say I’ve felt really safe in it and its’ three predecessors.
What’s that...about $5,000 worth of gear there?
Two questions:
Was he working on a story about Hillary?
Does Prince Phillip have an alibi?
A Land Rover and he didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
Glad they’re all O.K.
Did they have their visas from New York to visit the U.S.?
Probably so. Anybody who makes the money he does can afford that vacation and the gear to go with it. More power to him.
My sister has a Land Rover, its a freakin tank..good cars..!
I hope his family is okay.
This was his first and final warning.
This was his first and final warning.
Did the audience break out in spontaneous cheers when the announcement was made, followed by spontaneous groans and booing when it was announced that Baier was still alive?
“My sister has a Land Rover, its a freakin tank..good cars..!”
Too many ‘sisters’ in N. California know that their Land Rovers, Audi Suvs, Lexus Suvs and Acura Suvs are like freaking tanks.
So, they tailgate, pass when they shouldn’t and never drive at or under the speed limit. They may be more dangerous than teenagers or a new illegal without a legal driver’s license, who can’t read any road signs in English.
Doesn’t his son have some sort of a health condition?
He has a heart condition
The car flipped due to icy roads, but all had seat belts on.
Amazing that most any car accident there are photos.
But now a one of of this event.
