the upstate homeowner could not get a permit to keep a second handgun there. Any permit or licensing requirement is a clear violation of the second amendment. That needs to be clarified once and for all. What do they fail to understand about "shall not be infringed"?

SCOTUS can review the 2nd amendment over and over and it’s ok with Democrats but don’t you ever think about re-considering ROE vs Wade.

SCOTUS can review the 2nd amendment over and over and its ok with Democrats but dont you ever think about re-considering ROE vs Wade. That's because it could interfere with the Democrat Prime Directive: KILL THE BABY!

I have a good feeling about this. SCOTUS seldom takes a case without a good possibility of an overturn, and the lower court sided anti-gun.

I think we all see now who was holding up 2nd Amendment cases from being heard by the SCOTUS so that Leftist dominated Circuit Courts could get away with issuing rulings that are clear infringements of the 2nd Amendment and which are contrary to Heller 1 and Heller 2.

Only leftists can find abortion rights in the 4th and 14th amendments but not gun rights in the 2nd.

It said petitioners had not shown there was inadequate access to one of the seven firing ranges in the city, that petitioners could not rent a firearm if they wanted to go to a range elsewhere, or that the upstate homeowner could not get a permit to keep a second handgun there.. I.e., petitioners failed to prove they were innocent.

Someone explain to me how the city of New York has any jurisdiction over what a citizen does outside the city limits. If the city’s authority doesn’t stop at the city limits how far into the state or country are they allowed to legislate
