The University of Notre Dame is set to cover a series of historic Christopher Columbus murals prominently displayed in a central building on campus.
Notre Dame President Rev. John Jenkins announced Sunday that Columbus’s arrival to the new world “was nothing short of a catastrophe” for the native peoples.

Human beings are not native to the western hemisphere but the hatred of white peoples drives this train. Asian immigrants welcomed, European immigrants not welcomed.
They could fight it but they don't want to. They believe everything will be fine if they just give in.

Fr.Jenkins has been off-track for some time. Unfortunately, the Church has been pretty much divided as is our culture these days. There are plenty of good, faithful priests who would correctly disagree with him.
We are busy praying for our Church these days...as we are ALL instructed to pray for our leaders ....including those in government.
They couldn't build a wheel.

The Catholic Church has been a disaster for little boys since their founding. I think they should be disbanded and all of their properties sold, and their funds distributed to the poor and worthless of the world.

I am not an unbiased observer because as I have stated here before I hate Notre Dame and consider it an embarrassment to Catholicism. I root for them to lose every game to play and enjoy watching them get their asses kicked. Jenkins is a scumbag and always has been.

when I attended Notre Dame in 70-74, they had a small Knights of Columbus building on campus.
I checked a 2018 map of the campus and found it was still there. Wonder what the Knights think of this.
I am thoroughly disgusted with the University’s actions. I’m going to complain about this idiocy.

why aren’t the latinos and espanoles protesting this? CC And Amerigo V were sailing under Spain’s flag, with Spanish troops as enforcers. One would think they would be overjoyed that America was discovered by latinos. /s?
