Pelosi, D-Calif., was scheduled to travel to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan for seven days, but Trump informed Pelosi in a letter Thursday the trip was canceled.
letter to Speaker Pelosi Concerning her upcoming travel:
"Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed," Trump wrote. "We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over."
“In light of the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay, I am sure you would agree that postponing this public relations event is totally appropriate,” Trump added. “I also feel that, during this period, it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me and joining the Strong Border Security movement to end the shutdown. Obviously, if you would like to make your journey flying commercial, that would certainly be your prerogative.”

It just doesn't get any better than that. Other than having Nancy try to deny the POTUS access to the House Chamber for the SOTU speech, that will never happen.

Why would Pelosi and a bunch of other Democrats be stupid enough to leave the country during a government shutdown. If somehow some deal were negotiated, their vaunted 800,000 employees would have to endure 1-2 extra days of starvation until the Queen returned to cast her precious ballot.
Are you kidding? The bus was already waiting for them! I am just enjoying this soooo much.....ROTFLOL......masterstroke indeed!
