Texas Rangers Hall of Fame pitcher John Wetteland was arrested Monday on accusations that he sexually assaulted a young child three times over two years.
Wetteland, 52, has been charged with one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14. The Trophy Club resident posted $25,000 bond and was released from custody the same day as his arrest.
He forced a relative to perform a sex act on him, according to his arrest-warrant affidavit, beginning in 2004 when the child was 4 years old. It happened two other times during a two-year period, the accuser told police.

Looking at the time table the last time it was suppose to happen was in 2006.
The child would have been 6 years old.

They had enough evidence to arrest him, but bond was low for the alleged crime.
If they find him guilty, he will be first pick in the prison sandlot pick-up game.

I’m guessing he has more pressing things on his afterlife mind but still, he is no longer polluting that sacred ground.
Enough evidence? Does the guy have a history of this? Probably a pretext call, out of the clear blue, I suppose. The girl said something like “you did something that hurt me” and he said “I’m so sorry for whatever I did,” while scratching his head trying to remember what he might have done.
When oh when are we going to start getting skeptical about these things? Let me tell you something freepers, something you don’t know, evidently. CHILDREN LIE!!! CHILDREN MANIPULATE!!!! And, there is a lot of money to be made with this stuff, a lot.
Someday, it might just be you or someone you love, accused of this!
Especially considering he has been an outspoken Christian. Something’s fishy. Very low bail for such an accusation.
Been to Arlington and walked all around.
