President Donald Trump sent House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a letter Thursday informing her that he was postponing her upcoming overseas trip because of the ongoing partial government shutdown.
The letter served as the president's response to Pelosi's letter the day before urging the president to either delay his State of the Union address or submit it in writing.
"Due to the Shutdown, I am sorry to inform you that your trip to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan has been postponed," Trump wrote. "We will reschedule this seven-day excursion when the Shutdown is over."

Hey, Trump just wanted to spare Nancy, his greatest 2020 campaign ASSet, the risk of possibly “...landing UNDER FIRE...” as Hillary did and possibly being hurt or, God forbid, KILLED!

TRUMP:"Okay. Did you get her passport? Good, let's use a little white-out here...erase a little bit there. Good. Get it back into her bag. They are going to simply throw barrels in front of him as if they were playing Donkey Kong.
Even if nothing gets done (who says that is all bad?) we are provided with entertainment.

Nancy doesn’t fly commercial she flies general which is private jet, I imagine her husband has one. As long as she is not flying on the taxpayers dime.
