@RandPaul
I agree with @realDonaldTrump! Its time to declare victory in Afghanistan and bring our troops home. We spend $46 BILLION a year in Afghanistan! How about we take that money and build roads and bridges and strengthen border security here in America? #AmericaFirst
Cruz has 0.00000 chance of ever being president. Beside not being a natural born citizen, he has so much baggage, is incredibly dislike, and was already trounced once. It is pathetically embarrassing to see him promoted. He only won re-election because of Trumps help. Otherwise he would have lost even that.
“We need a base of operation in the middle east, not only to combat terrorism that threatens national security but also if there ends up being a bigger war at some point.”
Nope. A this point our presence there CAUSES the wars. And besides, if we can’t force our way into any middle east nation we choose, we should just go ahead and disband the USN and USMC.
They have ZERO capability to prevent our entry anytime we please.
“Know that Pakistan needs to be kept in check (isi )”
I have a crazy idea. Lets not give them money.
Can you enlighten me on how you intend to supply this Afghanistan front in a war? It's land locked and surrounded by Iran, Pakistan and Russia (which you have to go through to get to the -stans that actually border it).
And a wall! :)
Oh! So you think you're better than all the rest of us, huh?!
Welcome to Free Republic! :)
“Afghanistan is our Western Front or launching ground for China. In case we go to war. “
So your plan, is to launch a ground war, across a few hundred miles of the northern Himalayas, break out into the Gobi Desert, and race 2000 miles, across China, to link up with our forces landing in the east?
LOL
wow! You must work for the Pentagon
I’d say cut off both Pakistan and India, let them duke it out and put each back in the stone ages but these two pathetic excuses of countries are already tribal cesspools. Anyway, cut them both off, save the money for Americans.
Yes, Pence is a bit of a dry disappointment as vice-president. Seeing him sit like a silent statue in Trump meeting with Schumer and Pelosi is a perfect portrait. Unless he steps up, I hope Trump picks a more useful VP for his second term. Despite some political differences, I’d say put Rand Paul in. At least he’s got a voice, is engaged, is defending Trump. There are likely better choices. Ideas anyone?
He gives me the vibe of a relative of an old rich dude, just playing it cool till that inheritance hits.
My thoughts, too. The next war, and unfortunately there could very well be, will be fought by pushing buttons with missiles flying back and forth. Ground troops are rapidly becoming a thing of the past.
I’m a Rand Paul fan, too. Guy has common sense, a rare attribute in a politician.
Afghanistan is our Western Front or launching ground for China. In case we go to war.
Lol. You have to admire those neocons’creative imagination. Osama Bin Laden was their strategic partner.
Pence is Bush 3...or 4? During the Veep debate, he was spouting Hillary Clinton’s talking points on Russia. Not a fan.
Send Rand Paul to Afghanistan. He’ll defeat the Taliban by boring them to death with his fantasies. He’s getting to be as bad as his father (who was a certified nutjob).
President Trump gets talked back on stuff, then situations are created so they don't happen. It's with troops, with the wall, with infrastructure,...
I do wish President Trump spent more time listening to Rand Paul
LOL, he never played RISK
I don’t need Rand Paul’s opinion on any topic and our President doesn’t need it either. He should stay in Canada after his surgery and run for Prime Minister. He would be a good fit.
