Steaks would have been good too.

I interpret that as a good example for all of us. The media will criticize him for that.

I’d been thrilled since I prefer burgers over steaks. Steak is ok.
My anti-Donald and sports fan was upset and thought it wasn’t dignified or something. I’d considered Don’s menu a treat.

We elected a problem solver, and this is just one of many examples that he is just that - a problem solver.

You can tell Trump’s instincts are on-target because all of the right people are upset about this.

Best President ever! I would love to eat pizza, drink beer and have a 5 minute chat with President Trump.

I'm betting he invites them back at a later time.
Has anyone heard any complaints from the team? I'm sure they were warned so they could make up their own mind.
To: Cecily
The YOUNG MEN of Clemson's football team who will devour the fast food feast are the ones with the LEAST complaint.
I think that pretty much clarifies the situation.
To: Cecily
The only thing I wish he'd done differently was to not mention that he paid for the food himself. At least not in his initial remarks.
Because you know the media would have jumped all over him for spending taxpayer money on fast food when the government was shutdown.
Then Sarah could have announced that Trump footed the bill himself personally and watched the media critics grovel and crawl back their mean-spirited comments.
Now that would have been a good show to watch. The media eating Donald's crow.

This is great. You know if he had taken them to one of the restaurants in one of his hotels for a really fancy dinner, the media would be screaming about emoluments. Guy can’t win for losing with them.

I’m expecting a major boycott campaign against all of the companies the President bought food from for the Clemson team’s meal by the Dems and other anti-Trumper’s but the time of tonight’s evening news.
