Are you a man? That is to say, are you a genetic male who also happens to identify as a "man," for some increasingly antiquated reason? If so, are you under the mistaken impression that you're not a rapist?
Our society has come a long way in shaming men for behaving in any way that anybody anywhere doesn't like, and reminding men that we're all complicit even if we don't behave that way. But it's not nearly enough. The mere fact of maleness is shameful and problematic. Men and boys everywhere need to be reminded that we're evil. We must learn to hate ourselves as much as everyone else hates us. The patriarchy must be castrated.
And who better to do it than a company that makes razors?
Alexandra Bruell, WSJ:
Gillette is embracing the #MeToo movement in a new digital ad campaign aimed at men, the latest message from an advertiser attempting to change societal norms...
This is an important conversation happening, and as a company that encourages men to be their best, we feel compelled to both address it and take action of our own, said Pankaj Bhalla, Gillette brand director for North America in an emailed statement. We are taking a realistic look at whats happening today, and aiming to inspire change by acknowledging that the old saying Boys Will Be Boys is not an excuse. We want to hold ourselves to a higher standard, and hope all the men we serve will come along on that journey to find our best together.
So basically if you buy Gillette, youre into self-hating S&M.
Good to know.
Why don’t they tell men to stop abandoning their kids, and be a good dad, and be there to teach your son to be a MAN....and someone their daughters can respect?
bingo. me too.
and as pointed out in another thread, they are all white men.
The Jews in Germany saw it coming but could not believe that a modern democracy would turn into Nazi Germany. It’s coming here folks against white males. It has been coming for a long time but it is coming.
Personna Tri-Flexx blades fit Gillette triple-blade handles, IIRC.

Hi Dr. Sivana
We decided to create this campaign in support of people living proudly, and recognize people live their lives in different ways. We feel it is important to celebrate causes that respect everyones right to live in ways that feel true to them, and hope youll consider our point of view.
All the best,
Jordan

Good afternoon,
I have been buy Harrys products for a couple of years, and for the most part, find them to fill my needs at a reasonable cost. I was gratified to find them at the Wal-Mart, thinking I would no longer have to mail order Harrys products.
One thing I do NOT like is when the vendors of my everyday consumer products decide to engage in the culture wars by embracing homosexualist promotion. Now I find that Harrys is associating with these by having a special shaving offer for such promotion, and donating to associated causes. You didnt have to pick a side, but since you picked the side that is opposed to Western Civilization, you wont find me buying your product.
Its a shame you couldnt be satisfied with making and selling a good razor at a fair price.
Sincerely yours,
I would much rather have boys fighting it out on the lawn than talking things out and playing mean girl games.
That’s some screwed up stuff!
Boys fight, and in five minutes it is over. Girls fight for years.
I recall another story about a man losing his strength after a woman shaved him. It was a long time ago, (and no, I wasn’t there)
Ad agencies are infested with Radical Feminists and poofters. That said the companies sign off on these campaigns. They obviously dont care what we think.
Safety razor and double-edged blades.
Do they have a Reems set?
The mug and brush advice saved my face many years ago! I tried every creme, lotion, and emollient on the planet-none of which worked! Now-it’s a great thing the better half loves waist-length hair and beard. Bit of a pain on a windy day, tho...
The S&M is only included with the high-end blades.
FU Gillette
Belt Sander?
Schicks blades dont do a very good job.
I was satisfied with the performance of Harrys, until they decided to start sending portions of their sales to pervert causes. When I let them know that I disapproved, they suggested that they knew better than I, and that I should understand. I am now on my last Harryss cartridge, and it will not be replaced.
I may try Dollar Shave Club next. I DO have a stash of 40 1985 vintage Gillette Microtracs (my favorite disposable, no longer manufatured), but I was hoping to keep them as an heirloom. I keep one in action to get the part under my nose that no five blade job can handle.
Barbasol now has a line of disposables, but as they have traditionally been an economy brand, I dont expect much from them.
Was going to try Harry’s until I saw your post.
Looks like I’ll jump on the Sean Hannity Dollar Shave Club bandwagon.
The Executive has a trimmer edge like the Gillette.

I would imagine the company to get some heat if they lectured women to get married before having kids, preferably to some upstanding guy with a job, instead of being sluts for a succession of bad boys.
