President Donald Trump told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House Monday that suggestions he was some sort of Russian agent were totally ridiculous, and insisted that the entire special counsel investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election is a "whole big fat hoax."
It's in keeping with his broader approach to the question of Russia's election meddling efforts and ties between those close to his campaign and actors for foreign powers: This is all a sham. Special counsel Robert Mueller is out to get him -- as is the entire FBI. They've got nothing. (The 192 criminal counts, 36 people and entities charged, seven people who have pleaded guilty, the four people sentenced to prison and the one person convicted at trial as a result of the Mueller probe make clear, of course, that Trump is wrong.)
But even if you ignore all of those facts about the Mueller investigation, there's still one question I keep coming back to over the last 48 hours: Why did Trump go out of his way to ensure that no records of his meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin exist?

AUTHOR ASKS:
Why, if you are Trump, would you purposely shield your conversations with Putin even from your own aides? Why would you take notes from a translator at one encounter and urge that person not to reveal what transpired — even to your senior aides? Why would you, as Miller notes in his story, ensure that “there is no detailed record, even in classified files, of Trump’s face-to-face interactions with the Russian leader at five locations over the past two years.”
Here we go. Fact is, Trump has not concealed anything. And secondly, he has the right to conceal whatever the heck he wishes to conceal.
You have no right to see the sausage being made, but in this country, you can register your opinion on the quality of the sausage at the ballot box.
Hmmmm.... perhaps because the Deep State leaks his conversations with foreign leaders which makes it impossible to have meaningful conversations with them? Wow, that was hard.
My questions:
1)Is this true?
2)Does Trump do this with allies too?
3)Does Trump have reasons to distrust people around him, who would misuse and leak coversations?
4)Is this just a fishing expedition?
5) Who cares?
6)Do most of these questions answer themselves?
Let me guess - you want the private conversations to remain private? Sounds like they are talking about stuff they don’t want the rest of the world to know.
Color me naive, but I thought a lot of government stuff tries to be private/secure. When everybody’s a leaker, how does one go about doing that?
At this point you're evil or a fool.
FO CNN and your god the Fraud you rode in on.
As always!
Imagine if the FBI and other agencies had investigated all the money and collusion the Clintons had from the Chinese. It would dwarf this investigation, because there were millions of dollars that flowed into the campaigns, sometimes over 100 donors from a single address, contributing to the campaign. How can 100 different people live at one address? LOL
The interpreters job is to translate, not take minutes or give reports to anyone who asks.
“Anyone who is still taking any “Russia/Trump” BS seriously is a ridiculous CLOWN-ASS or seditionist. No exceptions.”
EVERY Rat I know is completely sold on it. No exceptions.
At this point you’re evil or a fool.

It’s even worse than that. Cillizza is a CNN stooge!
Aliens.
As if some CNN reporter doesn’t have private conversations with Obama or Clinton.
2. Hillary also committed a felony (per James Comey) so why hasn't she been charged?
Great questions for CNN who will never pursue it.
Who is heading up the Special Council investigating Mexico’s election meddling efforts?
Because at that time his administration leaked worse that the Titanic. He did not want anything to leak, end of discussion.
