Did you know the iPad Pro is more powerful than the entry-level laptops lining the shelves at Best Buy? The iPad earns that "Pro" name with a processor that is on par with a mid-level PC. This is in addition to a screen resolution that exceeds many of those same laptops and the graphics power of an XBOX 360. And when you combine this with an operating system that supports slide-over and split-screen multitasking and a virtual touchpad, it's about time to reevaluate the iPad as a laptop killer.

I have at least one student determined to use her iPhone. I’ll see how she makes out. I could not imagine typing in a term paper on an iPhone myself.
Supposedly MS 365 doesn’t have all the features of MS Office and the students won’t be able to do all of the work.
This I do know is true as I had an in-person class last semester and one kid would not use MS Office on the machines. He instead on using 365 online an he could not do half the assignment. Not that seemed to bother him :-)
“Supposedly MS 365 doesnt have all the features of MS Office”
When we bought two new HP laprops last year they had Windows 10 and you had to”rent” 365. Horrid, dreadful 365 is a hot mess! I donated my laptop to DH for his astronomy. Then I ordered a Windows 7 refurbished laptop and installed Office 2003 on it with my well-worn CDs. Couldn’t be happier.
They must be smoking the sofa over there at MS R&D to come up with some of these ideas. “Let’s brainstorm to see how we can make our products worse.”
Thank you for finally conceding the accuracy of what I've been trying to tell you since my first post. You are finally getting there.
I can do most of what I want to do on iPad Pro12.9”. If it needs something I don’t have on it, I just VNC into Mac Mini (with multi-TB storage. For printing, printers are network capable. As a unix junkie, biggest shortfall is no shell. If there is an iPad shell would appreciate the info. For a keyboard, I have a bluetooth Brydge. I has most functions of a standard keyboard, just no trackpad. Because my fingers don’t work that well, I use a stylus(fits behind the ear nicely).
ROTFLMAO! Nice try at both denigrating me, my intelligence, and my data and links, and at the same time trying to change what your agenda was. . . But you miss by a mile. Everyone reading this thread knows what you were doing and knows who had the accurate data with links with the correct interpretation of those data and it wasnt YOU.
Now you appear to be hallucinating following a brief bout with sanity.
