Now that Trump has finally turned to the campaign promise that won him the election -- build a wall and deport illegals -- the Democrats, the media and even most Republicans are hysterical.
Just remember: They were hysterical about Ronald Reagan, too. You don't change history by being a follower, particularly if the people you're following are unimaginative, go-with-the-flow company men.
When President Reagan implemented the strategy that won the Cold War, he was opposed by the entire media, as well as foreign policy "experts" in both parties.
The New York Times and Washington Post produced nonstop denunciations of his "dangerous" policies. There were propaganda movies like "The Day After," terrifying Americans about a Soviet strike on our country. Witless college students demanded cyanide pills be stocked in campus health care clinics, on the grounds that Reagan was going to get us all nuked.
To be honest, Reagan was taken more seriously because he won 49 FRICKIN’ STATES! That being said, Trump needs our support. If you get those emails or texts, send in $5 at least. Show your support for President Trump. It’s not like he’s not confident, but he needs your support much more than President Reagan did.
When shes right, shes right. But that does not excuse her from being a nasty, insulting b-word.
I get that many of her criticisms of President Trump may just be her sending a message on behalf of Trump supporters for Trump to do the right thing.
But she often uses these criticisms along with nasty insults about President Trump. Skanky, low class tactics.
But this is what Ann does. This is who Ann is.
Yeah, and guess what? She is effective.
REAGANS biggest mistake ...George Bush.
Reagan only had NBC, abc, and CBS...there wasn’t 24 hour news
Hell there were hundreds of thousands marching in Europe against Reagan..
Wait for 2020. Border wall now. Deep State and muzzies to follow.
The other day we were commenting on the shotgun approach of the stories of only one network, NBC. For once the coordination usually present in the lockstep media seems to have gotten lost. In any case, they all got upstaged by the oracular Jim Acosta, standing behind the wall and saying he didn’t see a problem there. If they stray from the talking points, that’s what you get.
