Davis, Calif. -- A rookie police officer died after being shot in northern California by a suspect who later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said. Davis Police Department officials said 22-year-old Officer Natalie Corona was shot after responding to a three-car traffic accident at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the community west of Sacramento.
Corona was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where she later died.
CBS Sacramento reports Corona was sworn in as an officer just two weeks ago. She followed in the footsteps of her father, Merced Corona, who worked in law enforcement. She graduated from the police academy in July.
Following the shooting, police issued a citywide shelter in place order as officers searched for the suspect, who was later found in a house near the shooting after a brief standoff.

For us, one thing we have noticed in recent years is more aggressive/inattentive women drivers. They are dangerous. And everywhere.
Then a few months ago I started noticing a lot of women driving their men around.
Me to son: why are all of these men letting their women drive them around.
Son: because they can’t handle all of these women drivers. They would kill someone.
That's sexist!
I see women in heels beat up much bigger men on TV everyday without musing their hair or breaking a nail.

I think it's due to a wide spread cultural change. Our country has sent a clear message that our borders and laws are virtually meaningless. The message from politicians is clear that elites can do as they wish in the distinctive justice system that protects them. So, more and more people are either consciously or subconsciously saying, "Why should I give a damn?"
They’ve lost their licenses because of OWI or Speeding. Older men are traffic hazards driving around on little scooters because they’ve lost their licenses. We have noticed the same situation in our area. Women driving men.
Feminism will be the death of us. They need a heart change.
Yeah, this is too prevalent to be lost licenses. And relatively young men.
But, the other big hazard is elderly drivers.
Heartbreaking.
I believe this nation is fast approaching a saturation point.
Maybe some minor incident will trigger it, whether its called a civil disturbance, insurrection, an insurgency an uprising or plain old rebellion, it's coming, I feel it in my bones and I never would have believed we might come to this.
Well, they do look good in Hollywood, beating up all the bad guys heh.
