The Service Employees International Union Local 521 on Thursday put the Fresno County Superior Court on notice of its plan to strike beginning Tuesday over labor negotiations.
SEIU sent a letter to Sheran Morton, court executive officer, making the court aware of the planned “Unfair Labor Practice strike.”
SEIU couldn’t immediately be reached for comment late Thursday.

They struck some years ago. I picked up a lot of overtime for about two weeks.

I will give the LA Unified School Board and the Superior Court in Fresno the same advice, since it is ILLEGAL to strike against the government, I would fire very person who goes on strike in Fresno at the Superior Court or at the LA Unified School District.
Make sure you take pictures of every person that is on strike to make sure you have the proof they picketed in front of the building.

A good long teacher’s strike is what CA needs to shock it to it’s senses.
And its DEFINITELY illegal for public safety officers to strike.
But last time they did, nobody in Fresno had the balls to fire them.
It was a disgusting display of weakness.

Unions: gouging taxpayers and consumers for years while making union bosses rich.
Here is the cycle for public employee unions.
Charge more on dues than needed to run operations.
Use the extra to bribe the politicians who negotiate your contract and vote for it.
The politicians provide more bennies and pay
The union raises dues accordingly and increases the bribes.
pay and bennies go up and more union dies and so on and so forth
IF we must have public employee unions, they should be banned from contributing to politicians who vote on or negotiate their contracts.
So it’s okay when a union shuts the govt down??? What hypocrites
