President Donald Trump’s planned prime-time address on immigration Tuesday night has put the broadcast networks in a difficult — and familiar — position as they debate whether to carry the address live.
The White House has asked the broadcast networks to set aside at least eight minutes at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday for an Oval Office address in which Trump may declare a state of national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.
The four major networks — NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox — have not had a consistent policy when it comes to airing presidential addresses on immigration.
They aired President George W. Bush’s prime-time address in 2006, but did not air President Barack Obama’s prime-time immigration address in 2014.

They’re thinking, “What if Trump gave an address and nobody hears it, because we don’t broadcast it?”
It’s one of those weird anti-trust things where they are thinking it, but it would probably be an illegal conspiracy to talk to each other about it.

If I were the President, I would hold a rally somewhere near the border (Arizona or Texas) and largely repeat the same address in front of a crowd. The press can’t resist the coverage in the hopes that Trump will finally say or do something that makes everyone hate him.
A National Security issue and the Networks can’t decide to air it?
It would be to his benefit if they deny him just more evidence of their bias.
They have to air it. How else will I know what the president said without some talking head telling me what I really just heard?
More fake news, they will air it, all of them. They can’t report that the government shutdown borders on being the end of the world crisis and that government workers are now deciding between dog food and medicine and then not report a Presidential Address by a demented man whose reckless demands for “his” wall is the root cause of all evil in the world. Nope, they’ll air it and are as we speak lining up people to refute what he says.
They will all air it.
How about a simple “broadcast the speech or lose your public airwaves license?”

I believe they have some kind of obligation to the President for informing the nation.
Lets see if these maggots air it and let more Americans know what Trump has to say about The Wall and illegal immigration.
OR will these maggots de-platform The President. We all know they would be putting The Kenyan or Kankles on.
