I suspect that RBG is trying to hold on until next years when the phony BIDEN rule takes effect.
It is a rule without teeth, and from what I can see, has no merits. We as conservatives, can invoke it if we wish, or not, because there is really nothing there. Just because we used it once to our advantage does not mean we shouldn't ignore it when it stands in our way.

Biden Rule doesn’t apply. This was created to avoid a nomination in the height of political season. The media is now making “political season” every day with their daily anti-Trump fake news and activism, so the arbitrary gentlemen’s rule is out the window, thanks to the media war on Trump.

That’s my take also. It applies when the President and the Senate Majority are in DIFFERENT parties.
I expect her to be gone by the end of February at the latest. She is nothing more than a placeholder.
I think they should demand that she show up IN PERSON for rulings. Nothing would surprise me that the Demorats would have her “vote” from her grave.
Let’s not forget, Obama was in his 2nd term, not his first.
I’d like to know what drugs she takes while she’s working.
