Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted a message to the few Republicans who booed her on Thursday while she was voting for Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for Speaker: “Don’t hate me cause you ain’t me, fellas.”
“Over 200 members voted for Nancy Pelosi today, yet the GOP only booed one: me,” she also tweeted.

I can’t speak to this crowd, but when I boo a speaker, it’s not because I hate them. It’s because I think what they are saying is stupid.

This woman is more than a flavor of the moment. Dismissing her is not something I’d recommend.
She looks good, she’s Hispanic, and she’s progressive. She got elected at a relatively young age. The Dems are beginning to emulate her, and the media loves her.
Logic, reasoning, intelligence? Those things are so last century. More and more Americans want someone who checks the sjw boxes. One day Ocasio-Cortez will run for president, and I wouldn’t discount her chances of winning.

It was also pointed out that if anyone booed it was probably her own ‘people’ that she had PROMISED she would vote against Pelosi.

Where are the Plagiarization charges for her stealing that line? Had an R muttered that 100 Rs would have been demanding an apology - well at least the same amount had ANY R muttered - in public the word M.....-F..... and even vaguely hinting it applied to BO.
The Rs would have censured an R for that one....
