“Actually, I think 14 weeks of boot camp and not only would they run to the sound of gunfire, they’d do it in lockstep! The military has a way of making men out of boys, even pajama boys.”
No. We will never have a draft again, and we shouldn’t. A professional warrior class does a much better job.

“Proof?
Why land on the side away from he earth?
Because you didnt land there!”
Bingo! China wants people to think that maybe they landed on the moon, but that is, to my mind, extremely doubtful.

The moon is always full. It’s hard to know if China is lying.

The problem with Chinese probes once you touch down an hour later you want to do it again.

I thought they landed a man on the moon. Oh well. Well, they did.
These are the ChiComms, so...
It was a one-way trip.

I hear you, but with thousands of amateur and professional astronomers globally, if this or ANY moon landing were faked, there would be thousands of people with corroborative evidence of fakery, i.e. “We didn’t capture any transmission from the moon.”

... if you listen really closely, you can hear John Lennon saying "I wrote The Wall."I'd rather hear Congress say "I'll fund the Wall."

That is one of the fail-safe arguments for people claiming the 1969 Moon Landing was faked....don’t you think the Ruskies would have HOWLED that “we have not received any capitalist pig-dog transmission from the Moon” if it was done on a soundstage in Montana?

I'd rather hear Congress say "I'll fund the Wall." I think there is a better chance of Led Zeppelin embarking on a world tour in 2019 than the House saying anything intelligent this year.

"Chinese landing on the dark side of Mars? When did that happen?"
To: dayglored
If you read the article rather than jump to a totally incorrect conclusion, you would have noted the article said “far side” of the moon. The article did not say “dark side”

"State media reported the rover transmitted back the world's first close range image of the far side of the moon."
Running this thru my Chinese State media BS translator and ...
Rover crashed on moon, only photo's we have are from camera as it crashed. Camera currently 2 meters under surface of "dark side of moon".

My comment was a quote from the Pink Floyd album "Dark Side of the Moon", whose cover had been posted by DoodleBob in the prior comment.
In other words, I was acknowledging the prior post, and doing a "I saw what you did there" reply.
The quote is a spoken line at the end of the album, not part of the official lyrics.
Or as another well-known quote goes, "It's a joke, son."
