Kollab studied at the Touro Medical School and was accepted at the Cleveland Clinic as a resident.
A medical resident at the Cleveland Clinic was fired after scores of her anti-Semitic social media posts were discovered.
Dr. Lara Kollab worked at the Clinic from July 2018 – September 2018. The Clinic fired her after the messages, which were posted over at least the last seven years, were flagged.
The Clinic on Monday in a statement confirmed Kollab’s firing, after reports about her posts began circulating online.
“This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018. She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system,” the statement said.
Her social media accounts were all closed as of late Monday.

My guess is they were not held to any standard all through medical school, never told no, and thought they could say and do anything they pleased. They were entitled....until they finally werent. My guess is there will be some arbitration process and they will get their jobs back.

There’s some groups I’m not to keen on, but when it comes to medical care provision, they should be served with top notch care.
The Jews didn’t decide to be one after birth. They were born into it and anyone not liking that, is a real loser.
While I think this is a bit too much PC run amuk, I think it’s purpose is to shut up anyone who disagrees with some other group’s “choices”.
Then again, if you shoot your mouth off about someone’s race, it’s clear you don’t exactly champion their civil rights.
Not that she should have any medical ratings. Anyone who publicly jokes about harming patients should not get into medicine. This doctor is a malpractice suit or a criminal prosecution waiting to happen.

I’m sick of everyone getting up in arms over some comments. Actually, yes, they open themselves to derision, and it should be the right of anyone to fire for whatever reason they like, but it doesn’t make it right.
Seriously, we’re so damn sensitive, NO ONE will have a job...or employees....if they go by this high (and mighty) standard.
What she did was possibly threaten foul play. But just not liking Jews, or making some comments about them, honestly, should not be enough to boot.
It would be nice to see what would happen if she just threatened “white” people. Crickets.
