Four black coaches were fired Sunday or Monday, including the Jets Todd Bowles, who was let go shortly after his teams final loss Sunday. The Jets had a 14-34 record in the last three seasons under Bowles.
Marvin Lewis, who had been at the helm of the Cincinnati Bengals since 2003, was fired Monday. Though he had resurrected the moribund Bengals and took them to the playoffs multiple times, he never won a playoff game and this season was Cincinnatis third consecutive one with a losing record.
Also fired Monday was Denver Broncos Coach Vance Joseph, who had presided over the first back-to-back losing seasons for the Broncos since the early 1970s. In Arizona, Steve Wilks had been the Cardinals coach for just one season when he was fired Monday after his team compiled a league-worst record of 3-13.

Simple mathematics more black coaches had jobs and so more black coaches could be fired. 2 black coaches retained their jobs. Enough with the race card theme and quotas. Winning coaches keep their jobs.

Jordan Peterson has made points showing how Jews and Asians have higher average IQs than whites, but then tap dances away from the issue with blacks, because the PC crowd would rip him to pieces.

Im a Jets fan and really liked Todd Bowles and wanted him to succeed. Sad to see him go but it was time for a change.

I was going to reply but several others already have. Is it pure racism that the almost all defensive backs are black and because they are on average faster than their white counterparts? No it isnt. Color isnt a race but regardless national origin does correlate to physical and intelligence advantages. Facts arent racist. They are facts and averages will show it.
Let me add some sexism in the mix. The curve for intelligence is wider for men than women. So you have more men with very high IQs but also more idiot men than women. Is it sexist against women that there is more male geniuses? Or is it sexist against men that there are more idiot men than women?
Please respond if you have the time. You made accusations of racism and walked away.

The Bucs fired Dungy after a winning season; however, he didn’t win enough playoff games. Gruden won a Superbowl with essentially Dungy’s players.
We are forbidden to notice those differences according to the current politically correct narratives.
Well, except for "Affirmative Action", and "Minority Set-Aside", and "Disparate Impact" policies, which benefit certain political factions.
"Sportsball" is a very unforgiving objective test. You have winning teams or you are gone. Blacks dominate such athletic events because of superior skills, not "racism". Those skills are mostly genetic in origin, augmented by good training and good coaching.
Software Engineering is another unforgiving objective test. The machine does not know or care about your racial and ethnic background. The application must work correctly and usually by an unreasonable deadline. Whites (and in particular Asians) dominate such trades because of superior intelligence (and several other X-factors as well). Those skills are mostly genetic in origin, augmented by good training and good management.
We rather badly need a social narrative that deals with reality instead of trying to ignore it.
Maybe these black coaches are being fired because they’re hiring WAAAAAAAY more black starters than the percentage of blacks in the general population.... (in short - racism)

My opinion is that we have too many of these narratives — of comparing one group with another. How unfair is it to demean a brilliant, say, black person by pointing out that he’s a member of a race that by some statistics is deemed less intelligent.
I’m a white person.
Yes, they’re learning about the race card - but they don’t want to end up on the “do not hire” list...
Had no doubt the NY Slimes and the the Washington Compost would fly this flag!
