The rulebook's details were revealed Thursday night thanks to a Facebook employee who leaked over 1,400 pages of the speech policing rulebook to the Times because he "feared that the company was exercising too much power, with too little oversight — and making too many mistakes."

FB does ‘shadow banning’. Not sure what it is but sounds like it is something that could be real.

I post a lot of political stuff so they may be able to get paid for those while not letting my post be seen.

I think it’s where they can keep posts from being seen from the public or maybe many friends. Also, in comments, sometimes they ‘select most relevant’ so not all comments are seen. I feel if I quit I’m not trying to fight the left at all.

Facebook’s USSR comes from the Uniparty, Corporatist Globalist politicians who intimidated them at the hearings this year into these censorship rules.

They are the fault of Republicans and Democrats who have used this “Russian interference” narrative to suppress free speech.

The Uniparty politicians all say Vladimir Putin is bringing back tyranny and is the USSR but it is his critics in the West who have no other solution than to intimidate the social media companies into this kind of censorship.

I know a number of people who have left FB and gone over to www.spreely.com. It was started by two guys who were major players at Facebook and couldn’t put up with their Zuck’s bull crap and censorship. As far as I can tell SPREELY has no filters, what you see is what you get. That’s good and bad, everything is in the open and you know what people are really thinking.

Just fifteen years ago you couldn’t just walk in the shop and buy what you need. Instead, you had to stand the longest line you’ve ever seen and as a regard you could buy not more than some limited amount of a limited choice food or other products. That was Russia in the beginning of the 90s – right after the collapse of USSR, when old Communistic supply system was already ruined but new, capitalistic, hasn’t been built yet.

That wasn’t only shops who had long lines at their entrances every day, but places like the Embassy of U.S. had the long long line too – you can see it on the last photo of this set. But the most curious line in this set is the line to the Lenin’s Mausoleum – you can see it on the photo with the Red Square – one could think that Russian people shouldn’t stay any more in line to visit the Lenin, the idol of the communism beliefs when they have such a ruined society around, but no – people were still eager to stand many hours line to visit Lenin too. Probably they wanted to say some swear words right in his face?

I look forward to the day when Facebook goes the way of AOL or Myspace.

It's coming, and they're doing it to themselves. It's amazing after the Wild West of Twitter, jumping on to Facebook and feeling how drained of color and life and passion it is by comparison. Twitter has it's own significant problems, too, but compared to Facebook, it's night and day.

The silver lining is that I found a site called Spreely that is similar in set up to FB but where you are allowed to speak your mind. Many persons currently in FB jail have signed up.

Our younger relatives scoff at us for not becoming involved in facebook. It is nothing more than a complicit agreement to have one’s privacy invaded, in my opinion.
