An impeachment process against President Trump now seems inescapable. Unless the president resigns, the pressure by the public on the Democratic leaders to begin an impeachment process next year will only increase. Too many people think in terms of stasis: How things are is how they will remain. They don’t take into account that opinion moves with events.

By "the public" I assume she means the kooks on our college campuses and in the "national mainstream media". I'm not hearing any calls for impeachment from the taxpaying John Q. Publics.

But the leftist Democrats should be careful, they and the NY Times may find out that Trump and his supporters aren't going anywhere no matter what they do. And going into the 2020 election every attack on Trump just galvanizes his supporters. It is really us that they are after, so we need to be ready for the fight.
Stuff and, well just stuff. Quit confusing them with hard questions.
They HAVE to impeach Trump. Period. He is one man and they are the system but he can blow it all appart by simply applying the law. THAT’S how far out there they are. It’s only a question of The Charge which will allow the Republicans to “ regretfully” vote to impeach.

so far, at least, the D’s have gotten nowhere with their “impeachment” talk.... and in over 2 years they’ve come up with NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA that PDJT has done wrong

Looks like they're trying to pull the same stunt with President Trump. Except President Trump is fearless and his followers are not cowards. In fact, I'd say we're the backbone of America.

Hey NYT - as they say, be careful what you wish for.
There will be repercussions, and it won’t be pretty.
Nixon, like Obama and Hillary, spied on his political enemies. The difference was that Nixon used private resources and tried to cover it up, while the other two used government resources illegally and everyone had a meh, who cares attitude.
I believe there’s some sort of clause somewhere of “Not being a Swamp Creature”. It’s only been in place since 1989, so it’s the first time it’s being used.
And he still hasn’t released the redacted info on the Clinton/Obama/Dem operation to spy on a campaign opponent. Can’t wait for him to do that to them.
Pay attention, everyone. These are exactly the same tactics the Democrats and false Republicans have used since the ‘60s.
Every single day, every single editorial, during Nixon’s, Ford’s, Reagan’s, and both Bush presidencies continually attacked them. They have refined and intensified their methods.
They are doing this again with President Trump and we need to rally around him and let them know that we won’t stand for it. Time for the Yellow Vests here.
