It is now an established practice in roughly 90% of the American media that anything that President Trump does is wrong, and usually an outrage. Thus, when he and Melania flew to Iraq and Germany for a post-Christmas visit to the troops deployed there, it had to be bad, a transparently craven reaction to criticisms that had started appearing in lefty media that he had not yet visited troops in a war zone – as all his recent predecessors had done -- as his first term in office neared its halfway point.
Brit Hume, the senior commentator at Fox News, and a man who has seen it all in the DC swamp over the last several decades, was not an early Trump supporter, but over the last couple of years, seems to have had his fill of TDS-addled media figures hyperventilating about everything Trump does.

The liberal talking heads must get some sort of email blast early in the morning so they can all recite an approved line of attack throughout the day.
Like the holder of any elected office holder Trump is subject to criticism for various things. But it should be rational and based in some sort of fact.
The country really has had its fill of “He’s Hitler! He’s Satan!” hyperventilating. These people need to grow up.

I went over this yesterday. Bush wen to Iraq in the 2nd year of his presidency at Thanksgiving. Trump went in the 2nd year at at Christmas. Bush started thevwar in Afghanistan in 2001 and didn’t go to Afghanistan until 2006. Thus BS about Trump not going to warzones and everyone else going is BS.
I was on a liberal site a few days ago when the news broke that he was over there and this was exactly their line - that he had been shamed into doing it.
I always crack up when they accuse the right of using talking points. As usual, they are projecting.
