They may not like Trump & McConnell but they love Smith & Wesson.
That's what I took away from the time I spent in the sweltering fall heat of Orlando, Fla., shooting guns and discussing politics with members of the Liberal Gun Club. Over the course of three days the group of 25 or so dues-paying members (of the more than 3,000 spread around the country not to mention the 5,000 registered forum members) traveled around central Florida shooting sporting clays, steel challenge matches, and even a few machineguns while planning how they'll expand the club and use it to lobby against new gun bans and for what they view as more effective means of addressing gun violence.

The 2A is for EVERYONE.
It protects your right to have and express whatever opinions you hold.
I wish more Libs would come to realize that.
They support taking away gun rights. There’s no question.
I don’t care how much they like guns.
Very interesting. I’m curious to know how their gun stance would affect their voting, what the priority would be.
Cognitive Dissonance is a helluva drug.

While I agree with you, I have found that much more often than not, a Liberal who is pro-Second Amendment is also pro-ban of ARs, standard capacity magazines, and anything that appears 'scary' such as flash hiders and bayonet lugs.
Most pro-2A liberals think that the Second Amendment only protects hunting-style shotguns and rifles, but not handguns, ARs, semi-automatic actions, or other "non-sporting" configurations.
Their view is that as long as you have access to a single class of firearm (double barrel shotgun, or bolt action rifle, for example,) your Second Amendment rights are being upheld.
Liberal maybe, but hard for them to be Democrat when Democrats opening what to ban guns. Do they think they’ll get special passes?
Use a gun to commit a crime in FL and it's 20 years. Fire that gun and it's LIFE...................
The cute chick on Mythbusters comes to mind.
She has admitted to being a California Liberal, a vegan, and an atheist. But she also says that her favorite part of being on the show was getting the chance to shoot REALLY BIG GUNS.
“Very interesting. Im curious to know how their gun stance would affect their voting, what the priority would be.”
I look at it this way. The military and police forces around the country do not have the resources to take 300 million guns away from 100 million or so people. The liberal gun owner will be exempt from the confiscation.
This. This right here is the embodiment of the term useful idiot.
Many members of this gun club are Christian atheists.
That all goes to their basic belief that government can be benevolent and not self-serving. And that therefore they can be trusted to carry out “common sense regulation”.
Yeah. RIIIIIIGHT.
It’s known as “Guns for me but not for thee”.
It’s also known as hypocrisy. Kinda like “wealthy liberal”.
A sort of political bisexuality, IMO.
You have nailed it. “Pro-2A” liberals want things as they are in UK and Australia, with hunting guns permitted only under heavy supervision and no handguns at all, with the police showing up at your doorstep to inspect your gun storage.
No thanks, I’m not buying. There’s a moral inconsistency about liberals owning guns. Dianne Feinstein feels her exalted position gives her the right (privilege) to a concealed carry permit while seeking to disarm the rest of us.
Yes, they do.
It is OK for Liberals to have guns. They just don't want you to have guns.

We have a few at my club. “Golfers with Guns” as long as nobody takes away their O/U shotgun everything will be fine. Oh, and they are not just liberals.
