President Trump said Monday he is "all alone (poor me)" in the White House amid stalled negotiations for a deal to end a partial government shutdown, now in its third day.
"I am all alone (poor me) in the White House waiting for the Democrats to come back and make a deal on desperately needed Border Security. At some point the Democrats not wanting to make a deal will cost our Country more money than the Border Wall we are all talking about. Crazy!" the president wrote on Twitter.

Rand Paul has been wishy-washy on the wall and enforcement.
Neither do most of the house Republicans. Maybe 25% of R house or senate members actually want a wall. 0% of D house and senate members do.

Yes, I think the Dems have overplayed their hand. Especially since it turns out that they were willing to give Bambi 12.1 billion for a border wall only a few years ago.

Uh your metaphor doesn’t apply. No one is on the ship and the ship is in dry dock. The president isn’t required to be anywhere on Christmas. This is a “feel good” move and it worked on you. Th sacrifice he is touting is superficial. everyone else is where they want to be laughing at him, as am I.
Promise them you are not going to run in 2024, it will take that long to make sure they are holding to their bargain.

He’s gotten the demonrat party on record as refusing to fund ANY money for a border wall. Now, sell the land and enable the private donors to start building it to donate back to the department of the interior. There is a mechanism for it. That’s the endgame here. Have the private wall built out of concrete since they rejected steel slats.
