I spoke to Rep Warren Davidson and the bill is ready but will only work if passed now with funding bill before Dems take control.

this whole thing had my spidey senses klaxons going from minute one....you cannot give the money to the government with stipulation on where it has to be spent....they will put it in the general fund, and it’ll wind up providing public defenders for illegals or something. Congress has been promising to build the damn wall since Ronaldus Maximus was in the White House, and it’s not built because the government doesn’t WANT it built. To top it all off, I’m hearing folks who donated to this GoFundMe are being doxed. Nice.

Congress could authorize dedicated contributions to be used for a specified public purpose (like they did to build the Washington Memorial), if they wanted. It would take as many votes as to just fund the wall directly.
If we could force the Government to build wall by sending money, others could force Government to demolish wall by sending money.
We have a constitutional process to manage public investment (and the eminent domain power to seize private land). The main power is vested with Congress. People can spend their own money as they like, but cannot unilaterally compel Government to spend it how they like. The constitution limits the process, to prevent anarchy.
We're already doing that, mostly against our will.

Doesn’t matter what he says. All you need to do is point out any Arizonan harmed in any way by an illegal immigrant and ask why he thinks its not important.
Don’t let him talk about how to spend money the best way as the answer to that is you don’t produce any revenue. Its our taxes that you squander so let it be directed to and by someone that knows a thing or two about construction etc.

specify its to go to the contractor selected/approved by The President. Smart thing. Use the National Guard etc... fits right in with their primary objective to Guard our Nation.
That way any counter tear it down would have to be approved by him and counter to their mandate.
Exposed the Rats once again as just wanted more $$$ dependent Dem voters.
OTHER purposes??? Why would we want that? It should ALL go to constructing the wall.
