Mexico will now keep asylum applicants on the other side of the border, thanks to an agreement reached between the two countries announced today. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo framed it in tough language:

The whiners were probably Cruz supporters, or Jeb Bush supporters who jump on every opportunity to sow discord among those of us who understand and believe in the POTUS.

They ‘AGREED’ to let them stay in Mexico? How kind of them, since they let them come in in the first place.

Re: “Gee, where are all the whiners about Trump now!”
We are at work - paying Mexico for this housing.
Oh, I forgot to mention - USA taxpayers are already funding more than $2 billion per year in foreign aid to Mexico and the other Central American countries who are sending us these “asylum applicants.”

Makes the announced foreign aid to Mexico more palatable... Not to me.
1) We shouldn't be giving "foreign aid" to anybody.
2) We need to secure our southern border. Build the WALL!
3) If Mexico refuses to secure its southern border, Mexico should pay for the consequences of its negligence.

USA taxpayers are already funding more than $2 billion per year in foreign aid to Mexico and the other Central American countries That's not OK. That needs to end. $2 billion can build a substantial amount of WALL.

And that cost pales in comparing the costs to letting these people just come into the U.S. and disappear! Once people know they aren’t going to get into the U.S. they will stop coming! Go back to your gutless anti-trump whining.

That would be an internal decision by Mexico. So long as Mexico is keeping the migrants from invading United States, I am content as a cop at Dunkin Donuts.

Interesting. I think this torpedoes the asylum requests as well, at least in a non-politicized court setting.
