I always felt bad she was divorced from Rob Reiner. I’m thinking he went Hollywood and she was too plain. I think she prob loved him and was hurt by that.

RIP Penny. Thanks for the laughs.

She was a close friend of Carrie Fisher and, at Fisher’s funeral, she was unrecognizable. Really huge. I had no idea she was that old.Funny lady.

“A League of Their Own,”

I can't recall exactly why but I remember this film as one of the funniest I had ever seen when it first came out. I watched it over and over again on VHS.

Her role as Myrna Turner, Jack Klugman’s secretary in The Odd Couple, was classic.

Always remember as a kid enjoying the rerun cycle of “Laverne and Shirley” whenever it was in the midst of the good old days of when they worked at the Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee and hung out at the Pizza Bowl, as opposed to when they later moved to California to work in a department store and Laverne’s TV dad owned the western themed bar.

OK, this is weird. I was JUST TODAY thinking about her when on SiriusXM the song from the series intro came on. I never even knew it was actually a released hit from the 70s (on 7).

RIP, nice Lady.

Wow - another name to be added to TCM’s already depressingly long vignette on movie-business players who died in 2018 - and still two weeks to go......

One of my best buds has worked with her and her production team on projects off and on and is godparent to one of her grandchildren

Last time I was out there we stopped by her place but she was stuck in traffic and we didn’t stay long and missed her

Great view of Hollywood and LA

Reminded me of a house in Shampoo

He told me you can speak your mind around her....she’s a liberal but tolerates folks like us

Once she hears your accent she’ll assume correctly you’re alt right..lol

But I never met her....he just wanted me to see the view and her world class sports memorabilia collection

I liked her and her brothers movies as a rule

Anyhow....man 1950s Milwaukee seems farther away now
