Agreed, he has been hiring people from the swamp to clear the swamp. He needs to be surrounding himself with outsiders like himself that are patriots and will root out the traitors.
Fairly obvious now that they have something more on Flynn’s Turkish contacts and Flynn’s lawyer admitted, under questioning from Sullivan, that that’s all he’s cooperating on. Mueller can’t leak the false narrative that Flynn’s problems have anything to do with Trump anymore.

Suggesting that he[Flynn] committed treason is a strange way to show it.

He was trying to goad Flynn into agreeing to withdraw his plea by suggesting if he doesn’t he could be sent to prison, or worse prosecuted for treason. After he thought about it on the break he realized he went too far and went into court aNd retracted aNd apologized. He was doing anything carrot aNd stick to get Flynn to change his mind. Finally he was able to get Flynn to agree to postpone on the hopes Flynn will eventually change his mind.
The judge took back that treason charge and apologized. He’s still figuring out what’s going on. Sentencing delayed.
Aren’t we doing good as the SSA.

If Trump had the support of most Republicans things would be different. But he is basically alone and your statement looks all too cogent.
I interpreted the Bush sell out on the border the same way. Repubs became highly suspect after that. But like many I know there is no other real alternative that has a modicum of success.
We do seem doomed. The Potus has fought against great odds, (and his own bumbling in terms of personnel and his ignorance as to the ways of the deep swamp) but he soldiers on, as so we must.
Imagine that. A judge wants to figure out what is going on before he sentences someone.
