NEW YORK (AP) - Chelsea Clinton's career as a children's author continues with a picture book about endangered animals.
Penguin Young Readers announced Monday that the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton is collaborating with illustrator Gianna Marino on "Don't Let Them Disappear." Scheduled for April 2, the book will celebrate whales, tigers and other animals and provide advice on how to help preserve them.
Clinton said in a statement that she wanted to help young people learn that some animals are in "desperate need of our attention." Her previous works include "She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World" and "Start Now! You Can Make a Difference."

The Clinton family is like a large rash on the ass that just won’t go away.
Is she going to write about truly rare species such as the centrist RAT, the unbiased media person, and the thick spined Repuke?
Every one of these “future candidates” feel they need to write a book to impress folks with how brilliant they are. Someone else writes the book, and then they go on tours to greet fans and sell most of the books to the DNC.
Why not a book about climate change?
Guess it beats working for a living ...
I’ll bet that Chelsea couldn’t name three endangered animals if she tried. No, I take that back. She’d probably say “unicorns”. But after that she’d be stumped.
Ghostwriter is right. I doubt dear Chelsea would know a common yellowthroat from a Gambrel’s quail, let alone which were endangered and why. What puzzles me is why she would choose this subject. Far better books about it have already been written.
Young JAP working as an intern for her mother's husband while her father was diddling her mother's friend.
Side note on endangered species...
Years ago, on a college campus (conservative college campus by today’s standards), a student activist group was collecting signatures for a petition against the construction of a Walmart near campus. They cited an endangered insect as the reason some swamp land should not be developed for a Walmart. Of course they also had a lot to say about the evil Walmart organization. But I chose to investigate this ‘never heard of insect’. Apparently they had been punked. They were citing a species of mosquito as and endangered insect that they were trying to protect. I went back to explain it to them later that same day. They did not believe me.
If it’s a pop-up book and some kid gets blinded by the giraffe page, Chelsea will have to hand over some of that sweet sweet foundation lucre to settle out of court.
So she’s writing a book about her mom?
How about endangered young girls ....... like the one her mom and Huma went after?
Deeeeeeeep Thoughts with Webster Hubbell’s lust child.
I wonder if the book will reference all the dead people who have crossed her parents.
The book will be about the GOP trying to gut the endangered species act and it will be out in time to be used in the 2020 election
The most shameless example of the ghostwritten book helping a political career is Profiles in Courage from JFK. Everyone knew in DC it was his aide Ted Sorensen who wrote the damn book, but with some lobbying and arm twisting from Joe Kennedy, it became a bestseller and won a Pulitzer Prize. It gave JFK some intellectual gravitas and helped launch him to the presidency.
That should be "alleged daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton..."
re: “. She’s so much better than you.......”
I thought that was Ana Kasprinna’s (of TYT) claim to fame?

Yes, I agree.
I think of that book every time a book like Chelsea’s is talked about.

It’s the magic Clinton name. So any ol’ topic will do. Maybe her next book will be about how long it takes for paint to dry.
It doesn’t matter. Every public library will order 100 copies. Every school library will order 100 copies. University courses will make it required reading.
By the way, Chels is a professor at Columbia University (really). So who are we to judge the Crown Princess? Anywho, I checked her university website. Odd, but there is no mention of courses taught, office hours, or ongoing academic research.
