More than 80 Ocean County residents were exposed to the measles at a private event in New York as the number of cases continues to widen, New Jersey health officials said.
Most of those exposed live in Lakewood, according to Dawn Thomas, a spokeswoman for the state health department.
The Ocean County health department didn’t mention where or when the event took place, but said Friday 86 people might have been infected. There were already 18 confirmed and six suspected cases of measles in Ocean County. People who might have been exposed to the highly contagious diseases are being contacted by health officials.

Yeah people don’t know there is something major going on and spreading in Ocean County. Simplest way to explain this is the orthodox Jewish community is running things there the same way you might fear Sharia law. Lots of fraud, legal system, schools, everything is run by the rabbis. They send out citizen patrols into neighboring towns to scare the residents to sell with the implicit message “we are coming to take over your town.”

Measles was responsible to many respiratory deaths up until the 1960's when a vaccine became available.

Only people with medical doctorate degrees can understand anything to do with vaccination. In fact, I am too stupid to even read the packaging that my medical degreed doctor won’t show me, that says exactly what I dared in my utter ignorance to claim, that a given vaccine will not confer 100% immunity to each patient for the rest of their lives.

My kids were born in the 80s and had measles. I have great pictures.
I have a good friend who has MS. The medical community believes it was a case of measles in her childhood that triggered it. She is a baby boomer and we all had all of the childhood diseases (measles, mumps, chicken pox, etc).

Not all Orthodox Jews have common sense. I came from an Orthodox shual that actually had modern thinkers as well as biblical scholars, and fire alarms/sprinklers.
Small Orthodox sects are often still living in the 1800s, at their peril.
