Your suggesting that someone inject themselves with vitamin C and taking massive amounts of vitamin A is what I was referring to.

You are purposefully snarky.....as most anti valets are

While it is true that I am strongly anti-valet, and far prefer finding a nice parking place on the street, I don’t feel that is relevant to this argument. Let’s not get ad hominem.

And if you are exposed to the measles, your doc might be able to hit your immune system with something, but chances are, he or she will NOT suggest the proven way of vitamins to avoid or get a lesser case of the measles, which one should do even if he has something else to use. Oral vitamin c, maybe start with 500 mg 2-3x a day and see how your bowels go. Dose should be just short of diarrhea if you are going oral. Easier, though, to go to an integrative MD and get an infusion with more vitamin c, which is actually MORE TOLERABLE to get a higher dose in, than oral.

Vitamin A should not be supplemented pretty much ever, with some rare exceptions - measles is one. Use a doctor’s recommendation for the dose, but if he says it’s not necessary, he would be avoiding a proven way to make sure your case is not one with the worst outcomes.

I am not a doctor, but I would like to play one on tv. Maybe in a telenovella.
