Justices Roberts and Kavanaugh Betray Pro-Lifers. As Expected
Come on. Who didn't see this coming?
After all the push and fighting pro-lifers did to make sure Robert Kavanaugh took a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, how could we not have expected to be betrayed as soon as possible? Roberts is Roberts. I mean, that ship has sailed. He's on the organ donor waiting list for the first spine transplant.
CNN:
The Supreme Court Monday rebuffed efforts by states to block funding to Planned Parenthood.
It left in place two lower court opinions that said that states violate federal law when they terminate Medicaid contracts with Planned Parenthood affiliates who offer preventive care for low income women.
It would have taken four justices to agree to hear the issue, and only three conservative justices -- Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch -- voted to hear the case.
Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh appeared to side with the court's liberals in not taking up the case -- showing an effort to avoid high-profile abortion-related issues for now.
Roberts and Kavanaugh "likely have serious objections," said Steve Vladeck, CNN Supreme Court analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law. "But such votes seem to be a signal that they would rather avoid contentious, high-profile disputes for now, at least where possible."
Even CNN can't come up with some constitutionalist argument to support their pro-abort brethren. All they've got is that Roberts and Kavanaugh want to avoid "contentious, high profile disputes." Uhm, what did they think the Supreme Court did? Its actual role is to settle disputes of the contentious variety.
Justice Clarence Thomas pretty much called them wusses in his dissent. "What explains the Court's refusal to do its job here?" Thomas wrote.
"I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some respondents in these cases are named Planned Parenthood."
I wrote a book called "Faith Under Fire: Dramatic Stories of Christian Courage." Let's just say these two wouldn't qualify.
So, it turns out that Planned Parenthood has a right to taxpayer money. At least until we see how that spine transplant turns out.

Yes, yes, yes, however the State survey agency (SA) has the power to declare Medicare providers unqualified.
State Operations Manual, Chapter 3 is the process to determine if the provider is unqualified. Report is then sent to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for review.
To say the State has no oversight and control is asinine based on logistics alone, which is why SA works hand-in-hand with CMS.

The Supreme Court has just ruled in favor of homo “marriages”. That goes far beyond the “privacy of their own homes”.

“Sodomy is a sin.”
Yep, but the laws only applied to homosexual buggery, not heterosexual buggery. Buggery is buggery.

No. You (and CNN) and the rest of the concerned crowd keep suggesting that this was a case about funding, when it wasnt.

No. You (and CNN) and the rest of the concerned crowd keep suggesting that this was a case about funding, when it wasnt.I have made no statement that this about funding, so please don't misrepresent what I have or have not said. As you stated earlier, "It was about whether an individual could bring a lawsuit in the first place."
And I have demonstrated the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of said lawsuits with the precedents of Roe vs Wade and Lawrence vs Texas. Funding was not an issue in either of those two rulings.

Roe and Lawrence will be overturned.
To: TexasGurl24
Roe and Lawrence will be overturned. Not with Kavanaugh and Roberts on the court. I can't fathom why you're defending them.

Just because you want to be right, doesnt make you right. You cant fathom because you want to be concerned.
To: TexasGurl24
You cant fathom because you want to be concerned. You're not "concerned" about the murder of millions of babies, regardless of "funding"?
Are you pro-life or pro-murder?

You dont get it. I want Roe overturned and I want abortion ended. Im confident that will happen. It should happen today, but the court cant magically overturn Roe with a case about standing.
You bought the CNN propaganda about this case and You are concern trolling about Kavanaugh and Roberts despite the fact that Roberts has voted pro-life on cases in the past and Kavanaugh hasnt had a chance to vote.
This wasnt a case about funding and it has nothing to do with overturning Roe. You want to pretend that it was because CNN said so so that you can cry like eeyore.
The right case to overturn Roe will come later. Kavanaugh and Roberts will vote to overturn.

One wonders if this is a technical ruling or not it would appear to me as such
To: TexasGurl24
The dissent was significant because it indicates that Justice Brett Kavanaugh sided with the high courts liberal wing to deny review of a lower court decision that favored the nations largest abortion provider. So what explains the Courts refusal to do its job here?, Thomas wrote. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some respondents in these cases are named Planned Parenthood.
Some tenuous connection to a politically fraught issue does not justify abdicating our judicial duty, Thomas added. If anything, neutrally applying the law is all the more important when political issues are in the background.

I agree that these two acted against our wishes.
Sadly, the House and Senate took a pass on passing legislation Trump was eager to sign, that would have defunded Planned Parenthood.
They also failed to act against PBS and NPR.
This last two years was to biggest failure to follow through in U. S. History.
McConnell, Ryan, F you two.

These same cast of traitors used the same bag of tricks to give us RINO flavored Obamacare.
The next time there is a flagrant “right wing” vs “left wing” dust up in the media, you know it is just the Uniparty Elites pulling the Hegelian strings for their man (or woman).
This time it was Kavanaugh, just another RINO Globalist.
They prey that we will “hate” the Left and the Left will “hate” the right and that’s how they get their man in office, every time.
Hegelian theory is an ancient practice.
Jesus described it.
It’s called divide and conquer.
