It’s gonna be Nick Ayers, Pence’s COS.
If you ask me this guy sounds like exactly the kind of slick operator we need in the job, the man to get the President reelected.
Kelly...just didn’t seem to fit the role, it’s a political position as much as an administrative one.

Kelly IMO will likely continue to work for the Trump administration in a different capacity. Rather than being on the outs with POTUS, he appears to me to be one of POTUS’s closest confidants.

"Is Kelly a witness of some sort for Mueller?"Intended or not, he probably will be.
It takes a very special kind of person to work for Donald Trump. I'm doubtful the 3 star generals and former Fortune 500 CEO's are a good match to be honest. Yes, you need very bright, hard working people who will speak up for themselves and share their ideas. But they also have to be able to take orders and execute them faithfully. If you must go with a military man choose a major, or better yet an E-7. They can lead men but still know how to follow orders and you'll get plenty of those working for PDJT.

Amazing...John Kelly served for 45 yrs in the military; a marine. Served in Operation Desert Storm, the Iraq War. Lost a son in Afghanistan. BUT he couldn't last two yrs as Trump's Chief of Staff.
I never quite understood the definition of bravery until watching young men and women do things that were absolutely crazy to do because they were well trained and they had the capability to do their jobs, Kelly told Marines.mil in January 2016 after his retirement.
Kellys awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. May the old warrior enjoy his golden years and hopefully it will be away from DC

Or not, Ayers is bailing instead. Reportedly could only commit to the job for 3 months, I have to dismiss that because it makes no sense.

And I was referring to Hope Hicks as the her, my apologies for a lack of a cogent thought transfer between Mr Kelly and former staffer Ms Hope Hicks. I was trying to use her as an example a well as to why they are leaving ( it seems ) in droves...
