BRRrrr, this cold weather really chills me, but my new winter coat does make things better.
Just relaxing tonight, even took a nap earlier.
Not sure what the weekend will bring yet.
Howz things your way?
Oops...sorry ‘bout the double post!
She posted one to me that afternoon on the “Just Hangin’” thread, not on the music thread. It’s on my list, just haven’t posted it yet.
I miss her, too, as well as several others.
Sounds like we’ll both be hunkering down this weekend. This kind of weather ain’t fit fer man nor beast! LOL
WOOHOO! Ya slipped in and snagged the 50!
MMMMMMM! Sounds deeeeeeee-licious! Makes me hawngree, and I just finished supper. LOL
Hey, I’m shocked I got it! LOL!
Well, we’ll have to get out to go to church on Sunday morning, but it’s gonna be heavy cords and heavier sweater for this gal! No dresses on freezing days!
Bet you’re glad you got the cat food and other stuff before it really got ugly. All the kittehs just have to stay well till it warms up. :)
I love doggies in Winter, they just kinda lay by the fire at your feet, while you read a book.
I sympathize with cold weather being chilling. And it’s not even winter yet!!!!!
Glad the new coat is doing its job.
Doesn’t sound like it’ll be a good weekend to hang out in the back yard with the lil Wild Man.
Had to take Bubba to the vet this afternoon. He started staggering around like a drunk last night and freaked me out. My first thought was he’d had a mild stroke but on close inspection, I noticed he had an infected ear. The vet seems to think that’s the problem - WHEW! - and that’s what we’re treating him for. Easy fix but will take a day or two for Bubba to get his equilibrium back.
These darn cats love giving me heart attacks in the middle of the night. LOL

Cowboy Christmas Ball - Michael Martin Murphey with Suzy Bogguss
It was OK :)
They was onions in that Hamburg steak..
Snuck up on ya, didn’t it? LOL
Can’t blame you for not wearing a dress to church this weekend. I’m right there with ya on no dresses on freezing days. Warmth and NOT GETTING SICK are a high priority! :-)
I pay attention to the weather specifically so I don’t get stuck having to shop in crummy weather .... year-round. Never did like hauling wet groceries into the house.
YUM! That’s the only way to eat a hamburger steak! Even better with a few grilled green peppers added. I can do without mushrooms, which is how most people do it.
Good evening, Pro...most everything at the work office had been checked out and folks were allowed back in the following day. Elevators had to be checked and with a skating rink and the YMCA in the mall, the stuff they use for ice and pools, etc, had to be checked.
In our small space monitors fell over during the original quake, but we put them up before the second hit and we were told to evacuate. But....all were still standing on Monday. I asked the IT guy if there was any damage and he said only 1 single monitor got broken.
My brother came through on his way home to Georgia and spent 2 nights. He was able to get the light fixture downstairs reinstalled and a couple things done that required ladders. Since then I’ve done just a little each day and things are coming along. I’m hoping to get everything off of my bed this weekend and maybe be able to sleep in it. So many of the things on shelves threw themselves on the floor, onto my bed, and across to the other side of the bed, on the floor. I have made a path to my desk and computer, but the shelves and file slots have voided themselves of all the papers, tablets, etc. They are now in a huge pile awaiting disposition. The pile will be dealt with when I get to it. d:o)
Have you started/finished your Christmas shopping? Lights up? Tree?
Amen, they say mushrooms is umami. (Was’s That?)
They OK I guess

It did! Last time I checked it, it was sitting on 45. So I got lucky!
I’m just glad I’m not still working. Otherwise, I’d have to get out whether I wanted to or not.
But we here are such wusses! Midland...the town I worked in...cancelled their Christmas Parade because of the cold weather. Well, DUH! Can hardly have it in June! LOL!
