ha ha
good one!
Good evening, patriot08, and thanks for sharing a beautiful Video with the troops. ((HUGS))
Love the drums in the driveway. So many things to see....I’m watching it again.
That would be ok with me. I wake up with every wiggle. Oh, to be a heavy sleeper like hubby is! Nothing bothers him!
Good that you’re getting it all together early. I have saved all my Christmas songs into a file. Thank goodness. I’d hate to try to find some of them again. I might start a “wintery” theme tomorrow night since we seem to have it upon us.
I think it’s raining pretty hard now. 35 degrees still, so not freezing. Yet. What’s it like there now? Still dry so far?
Great that they’ve unblocked the street at last.
As hard as things shook last week, I’m surprised ANY streets were passable to begin with.
It’s not quite winter yet. We’re trying not to rush it down here! LOL!
If Farmer’s Almanac is correct, you might as well get used to what you’ve had. They call for it to be a mild winter up there.
But then they say warm and wet here and they’ve already missed the mark, so who knows?
But no fire....d:o(
If Ellie just wiggled, it would be ok. I sleep the “vampire sleep” - like the dead - except when my back starts screaming. Ellie likes to lie on my chest and that definitely makes my back scream. If she wasn’t so timid around the other cats, I’d shut her out of the room, but timid she is. Her previous owner had all four feet declawed and she’s so scared of the other cats.
I’m glad I thought to check my Christmas file tonight. I could have sworn I saved everything last year but obviously not. It’s going to take a little work to get the vocal stuff together and there’s plenty of time.
Hubby just stepped outside a few minutes ago and said it’s starting to sprinkle. I peeked at the radar then and the heavier rain isn’t too far off.
I hope your temps don’t drop any more than they have tonight. Too close to the freezing rain point as it is.
Welcome, everyone to this weekend's edition of the Canteen Music Dedication. The music in this thread is provided for the enjoyment of the troops and their families.
Please support the artists in this thread. Buy their music and attend their concerts when they come to your area.
We'd like to thank the Canteen DJ's for all their hard work in posting the music to today's thread.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. How’s it going?
Go George!!
Glad you are safe and sound, Liberty, and away from the crazies.
God Bless you good, Mac. *HUGS* Good night and rest well.
Thanks for helping honor our troops, past and present.
Thank you for your service to our country.
Good evening, Luv, and thank you for spinning tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
Stay warm!!!
Howdy, Kathy! (((hugs)))
You’re very welcome. I enjoy doing something for our troops...even if it doesn’t come close to what they do for us!
Thank YOU for all you do.....for them AND for us!
Cowboy Christmas Ball...songs I’ve forgotten about, but am really pleased to see again.
Great picks!
Ugh! I think I couldn’t breathe with a kitty sleeping on my chest. Sure hope she just wants to curl up beside you tonight. I think it’s awful that her former owner did that to her. So cruel!
Sounds like the storm must be moving farther north than it looked like it would earlier. Stay warm. A bit ago it was still raining here. All we can hope for is that the temps don’t drop too much more. There are sirens going off a lot tonight because of idiots who forget that wet roads in cold weather might become slick! Geez!
See ya tomorrow night. The house is cooling down since we turn the heat down some at night. I need to get under the bankies. Hope you sleep well, too!
Luv.....#50!!
my.....#100!!
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Were you able to get out to the lake with Gizmo?
It doesn’t look like today will be a good day for going ANYwhere.
No bed yet...tomorrow and Sunday are top priority so I can sleep in it Sunday night. Did get boxes to put stuff in and sort later. Lots of stuff is not going back on shelves.
LOL! Not being able to breathe all that well does add to the reasons for waking up when she lies on my chest. She isn’t all that heavy though. Heavy enough to make my back hurt.
So far, the storm is doing what our weather folks said it would and right on cue. I just hope the temps follow their cue too.
Dummies on wet roads seems to be universal, huh? Just can’t get it through their heads that you need to take it easy when the roads are wet. I reckon we’ll both hear several sirens over the weekend.
Good night and sleep well. Tell Peaches I said he needs to behave. :-)
