Thanks! I figured it was a way to sort of sneak into the holiday season without having to go ALL in this early. I can’t get into the mood till about a week before Christmas.

I think it’ll feel good having that live heating pad to snuggle with tonight. If he’ll just be still we will do fine. LOL!

Maybe your little heating pad will give you a break tonight so you can sleep well, too.

Cracked corn for duckies is first on the agenda. I checked the city street closure maps, and it looks like the blocked street from last weekend is no more.

Temps are supposed to stay above freezing for hopefully 24 hours, with rain tonight. I keep checking the calendar and it says it’s winter, but this isn’t it.

Good evening, Kathy! Thanks very much for tonight's Countdown to Christmas thread. I've been up since 0430 and must retire - but I could not let the evening pass without acknowledging the sacrifice and service of those who fell on Sunday morning, 7 December 1941.

Those of us who follow in their footsteps will hold their memory close for so long as we live!

I’m working on the Christmas songs now. I thought I saved everything from last year but only saved the instrumentals. Putting the vocal list together and WILL save it this time.

Wiggling heating pads can be a pain, no doubt. Ellie has her good nights and her wiggly ones. Maybe we’ll both be lucky and have still kittehs tonight. LOL
