BRRRR! You’re a bit colder than we are. 43 here and no wind chill.

I hope you don’t have an ice storm too! NO FUN AT ALL!

The weather report just ended and it looks like we’ll miss out on the frozen stuff down here. Just going to have a lot of cold rain. DH is going to get quite a bit of sleet and snow though. Poor Obey and River. :-(

Feeling like I might make it...I am just plain tired out from the past week. Stuffiness is better but not gone....more Zicam. LOL! I just reached for it on the shelf behind my desk...guess what? It’s not there. Found it on the floor under a table. And my indoor/outdoor thermometer was in the same place. I need a kid to crawl under all such spaces and retrieve whatever they can find.

Now some of those peppers are hot, and I don’t do hot. My innards are ultra-sensitive to “heat”.
Green peppers go down just fine, though, and that’s good. They are so tasty.

Got any neighbors with kids you can borrow to crawl into the small spaces to retrieve things? :-)

I feel bad for all the eagles. There is snow on the ground in Decorah, Iowa, too. Of course, those eagles are more adapted to it than River and Obey are. I’m glad I’m not an eagle tonight. Or a kitty...even though they have warm cozy corners to snuggle in.

Glad you’re not going to catch the brunt of the storm. You sure don’t need any more ice, etc, to knock more branches down in your yard!

Say...you know what I just thought of? What ever happened to that bobcat that had taken up residence in your barn?

Yeah, I saw the snow on the nests when I checked on the IA, IL, and MN eagles earlier. Not a fun time for any birds or critters up there.

We’ll see what happens this weekend. They’ve been pretty good at predicting when rain will get here but have been off on temperature forecasts a lot lately. It turns out just a little colder than they predict and we get ice or snow.

I guess the bobcat moved on earlier this year. We haven’t seen it in quite a while. I hope it doesn’t come back!
