U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz with three other senators introduced a bill Wednesday that is aimed at fully funding a wall along the US-Mexico border... The WALL Act would fully fund the border wall by closing existing loopholes that provide illegal immigrants with federal benefits and tax credits, without affecting the benefits and tax credits used by Americans.

Keep the horseclinton coming, FRiend!
“Fell better? Get it all out?
Thanks — I’m still learning what opinions are not tolerated here by Cruzbots.
It’s ok, MANY here share the opinion you despise, and what’s really hilarious, is that only Cruzbots are projecting the word “hate” onto posters whose opinions they don’t tolerate.
Keep ‘em coming!
Excellent post.
The intolerance is strong with Cruzbots.
“Funny how you avoid telling where you are from....ashamed of it?????”
And now, the bullying.
“All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.”
This doesn’t sound to me like a bill for raising revenue.
The only hate being projected is from people hating on Ted Cruz.....for two years after a primary....how stupid is that!!!!
Asking where someone is from is “bullying”....what a little snow flake you are!!!
Taunting and bullying.
KEEP ‘EM COMING!!!!!
Please DO keep excreting!
CatherineofAragon would be so pleased at the resurgence of the #neverTrump Cruzbots.
Big Media has them smelling blood again.
Sure, Trump’s 2016 campaign Will collapse any day now.
Haha.
MOMMY that man is “Taunting and bullying.” me!!!!! “On Fwee WepubWic” !!!!
Bt the way ..Where you from???
Yes. I believe so.
"Do you remember if that bill (The El Chapo asset forfeiture bill) designated that the money was to be used for the wall?
Yes it did designate the money for the wall - and it would have been Mexicans paying for it.
Another proposal on the House side would establish a fund of up to $25 billion, that the Administration could fill through many possible non-appropriated ways (such aset forfeiture being one of them).
And Texas' Senator is smart enough to know that if Americans start to digest the FACTS, as presented in this bill........they are going to view the present 10,000 caravan foreigners, in a different light, instead of sucking up the Liberal media's propaganda.
Texas' Senator is also smart enough to bet that Americans will be even more upset when they realize that today's 10,000 foreigners could be a million (or millions) of get a piece of the US welfare pie, in 2019, if we don't find a way to stop this.
So for all you non-Texan, Cruz bashers, who don't live in OK, SD, or LA..... I am patiently waiting to hear what YOUR illustrious state's Senator(s) said, or did, for America, this week about:
1 stopping the illegal alien invasion..............
2 getting foreigners off benefits meant for American citizens..........
3 how to fund THE WALL?
If the answer's zip, zilch, nada.....then why aren't you focused on cleaning up your own state, instead of crapping on other state's Senators?
And if you ARE from OK, SD, or LA, where's your disdain for Infoe, Rounds and Kennedy, who also sponsored this bill?
Oh, I support it all right. I don’t care who sponsored it. It’s just so late in the game. Nor to I hate the guts of: Ted Cruz, Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, John Kennedy from Louisiana, or Mike Rounds, a senator from South Dakota.
Pres. Trump’s $5 billion is way short. They should be requesting a full 25-30 billion dollars.
This proposal is really elegant, in how it takes money away from the incentives for illegal immigration, to pay for the deterrent. Kind of a twofer.
It is also elegant in how its effects dis-proportionally target the most undesirable of the illegal immigrants - criminals who can’t pass through ports of entry, and the unproductive/unskilled/lazy who become public charges.
Yet another elegant aspect is that the revenues continue in perpetuity, even after the wall costs are paid.
I don’t know, but I hope that this proposal is designed to pass the scoring criteria needed in the budgeting process, where new spending must be “offset” by other savings or revenue increases. If so, it could be an essential element of a coordinated GOP strategy - but maybe that is too much to hope for. In any event, it is a mighty solid proposal, in terms of being an effective measure to address the problem.
President Trump himself was recently promoting a similar argument, proposing that the wall funding could pay for itself in other cost avoidances - in a matter of months, because the costs of illegal immigration are so high.
Uh, IIRC, all spending and appropriations bills originate in the House - not the Senate.
Yep
