On Tuesday, Emerald Robinson, chief White House correspondent for One America News Network (OANN), unleashed a powerful rumor that The Weekly Standard is on its last legs. Sources confirmed to CNN that Editor-in-Chief Stephen Hayes warned staff the future of the paper is uncertain. One of the magazine's key editors, Bill Kristol, has adopted a firmly anti-Trump stance, becoming a well-known #NeverTrump leader.

[I am happy about this however why hasnt the Times, Post, Chronicle and others closed their doors yet?]
They are now leftist blogs. They long ago abandoned the standard business model. They are a loss leader for the left to forward its agenda.
Why go for the "lite" when you can get the real stuff?
I cancelled my subscription after Kristol started his crap on Trump. The bastards never sent me a refund for the remaining issues. Glad to hear they’re going bye!
I used to subscribe and read every article as soon as I received each issue. Way before Trump it got boring. Either it changed or I changed. Haven’t read it for years.

AKA null set

They just got to be as pathetic as the Weekly Standard. Even after the economy turn-around and foreign policy wins - they just could not let go of the hatred.
Screw you Jonah, Kevin Williamson, et al. I don't know how VDH and Andy McCarthy puts up with you cranks.
The Weak-Kneed Standard. Always on their knees begging for liberal approval.
Kristol’s scribes will take a lateral transfer to National Review. The political philosophy of the two is the same.
Thank you, God. I do not wish to appear ungrateful, but why couldn’t it have been the Boston Globe? Amen.
As always happens to history’s dead-enders.
I had a subscription to the Weekly Standard back in the 90’s. 1994 was the year I crossed over from voting ‘rat to full-blooded conservatism. I had subscriptions to both Weekly standard and National Review. I used to love reading them. Now they are only fit for use as a backup if I run out of toilet paper.
The Weekly Standard was spawned as a result of the “demise” of the once great National Review. Both are now not worth the cover price.
Newsweak would be better. But Kristol is a non-intellectual buffoon.
