Dole is a legendary politician.

It was just not his time in ‘96.

Appropriate.

Romney should also salute the POS Globalist.

I had issues with both gentlemen.

But compare their obvious love of and respect for country with the Clintons, Obama, et. al.

Dole and Bush were brothers in arms. They respected each other for their service.

The current media treatment of Bush, Dole and McCain is so disgustingly hypocritical. Suddenly, they're dignified statesmen, but when they were in the political arena our media portrayed each of them as crazy, dangerous, unhinged, literally Hitlers.

Are they ever going to admit that their portrayals of these men were disingenuous, dishonest and disgusting, or are we just going to pretend that the media was never participants in these reprehensible character assassinations?

I’ve learned in the last couple of days that there are people here who can’t think broadly enough to recognize something like that. Everything must always be black and white and align precisely with every one of their personal bugaboos.

By “we” you mean “them.” To us the Goebbelsmedia could not be more transparent.

A last salute from one WWII vet to another. Like him or not, Dole gave more of his blood for the nation than any of his critics.

Dole is solidly behind Trump.

One of the few old guard GOP I still have respect for.

Dole looks OK for 95 but he doesn’t look long for this world.

Yes, God bless him. Very moving to see him salute the former Commander-in-Chief. Both men served their nation in war when they were needed.

My uncle who landed at Omaha beach first wave on D-Day passed this Sunday, he was 94. Although I didn’t agree with all of Bush and Dole’s politics I salute them and all the vets of that war for their service.

The trash that constitutes the players/owners in the NFL should watch and take notes.

It is the absence of respect given such men that makes me fear for our nation. Of course, it is the Goebblesmedia, it’s wholey owned subsidiary the Demons and the educational system that is at fault for this situation. That and an easily brainwashed electorate.

Romney should also salute the POS Globalist.

Only if it would bring good press.

Romney is Gilderoy Lockhart (Harry Potter reference).

I’m pretty sure Bob Dole did this for his veteran status. Bob Dole will still lap on a grenade for a vet, and bleed on the flag to keep its stripes red.

I respect him deeply for his commitments and dedication to our veterans.

Ok, can we cut the need to virtue signal on every one of these posts?

Some of you act like people should go in and piss on the floor.

I may not be thrilled with a bunch of stuff about the Bushes, but the steaming meltdowns when the guy isnt even in the ground are getting a bit old.

Saluting a fellow soldier, saluting the flag, sad that this respect is lost on so many including the bums in the NFL.
