Advocating criminal activity is now protected speech.
The good part is our enemies can't silence us because our opinions are now part of the debate.

A “Rapin Bill” judge.
That explains things.

In that case why obey the gun laws? Show the progressives this works both ways.

The senile 84-year-old fossil was initially appointed to the Federal bench by Peanut Boy, then he was promoted to the Ninth Circus by Rapin Bill.
Just another black-robed kkklown who thinks he's Presidentacus.

I strongly encourage private firearm sales between consenting adults.

In that case why obey the gun laws? Show the progressives this works both ways. President Trump: #NotMyPresident, say the Lefties.
The fraudulent incoming House of Representatives? #NotMyLaws, say the conservatives.

Norm McDonald should now be announcing that incitement of felony crimes is now LEGAL in the United States.

There is a wealth of case law, decisions, and opinions that assert and maintain that the simplistic notion of “protected free speech” doesn't include directly putting others in danger of life and limb (fire/theater) or advocating criminal activity. There are plenty of circumstances where your mouth can land you in jail. That's just the way it stands in U.S. jurisprudence which is why this decision won't stand the slightest scrutiny by a higher court.

It wasnt the entire law that was declared unconstitutional but only the portion where a person was constrained from advocating illegal acts.
So, you still have to obey gun laws......BUT, you CAN advocate for other people to shoot former and current politicians and appreals court judges, so it seems.

So urging people to break a law is free speech?

Yes. Or Trump could tell Manafort to lie to Mueller. There are some judges who should not be practicing law much less adjudicating cases.
To: yesthatjallen
The good news here is that there can now not be a law (like is being considered in France (or somewhere else in Europe?)) that would pass Constitutional muster that would prohibit speech that DIScourages illegal immigration. The saw cuts both ways. Let’s see the 9th Circus worm its way out of that.

Tashima is Japanese and was in a WWII internment camp with his parents in California. With that background and high potential for bias, he should not be ruling on cases involving immigration.
