The day after the midterms, Trump tried to paint a rosy picture of the Dem majority in the House, saying he was eager to work with likely Speaker Nancy Pelosi and would sign key legislation even if most Republicans opposed it.
Now his message is far more stick than carrot. As he said in our interview, the new Dem leaders would be unleashing the furies from hell if they engage in presidential harassment.
I will hit them so hard, theyve never seen a hit like that, he said, referring to his power to release secret documents, some of which, he hinted, will be deeply embarrassing to Barack Obamas administration.
If they want to play tough, I will do it, he said. And they will see how devastating those pages are.
I believe the president should release any such documents now, regardless of their partisan impact. Excessive secrecy serves only to hide official wrongdoing and the lack of transparency fuels public mistrust.
In theory, Trump agrees. But he is fixated on the war, and understandably so because he is fighting for the survival of his presidency.

Recent touts for the AG job are (Iranian) Makan Delrahim, DOJ antitrust enforcer and White House insider; US Rep. John Ratcliffe of Texas, and former federal judge John Luttig.
Yes, I think that's most likely the explanation.
I'm not buying the "he's waiting for the 2020 elections" or "he can't release the docs because terrorist convictions will be overturned", explanations.
Yes it will explode if they do.
I am prepared to stand with the Constitution and the President with no reservations. Be on the winning side!
Yep....
Release all of Obamas sealed pages—Like his college records—same with Clintons. Release all the names of the congressmen who paid to silence charges of sexual assault (bet most were democrats). Let it all hang out until the people know the TRUTH about this cabal of Globalist freeloaders living off Saudi and Chinese gold.
Right. POTUS is smart. Smarter than all his enemies. I doubt that he has trusted anyone outside his immediate family and I think hes kept some things to himself. Hes not going to let Mueller win.
When the SHTF, the historical consequences will be so great that Mueller will be a foot note to a footnote.
It would take a very long time to digest all of it, but I think it’ll be well worth it.
Yes LS, you and Cheryl Attkisson have alluded to this. Release any of it you release the Krakken, all that was done post 9/1* to roll up the bad guys, will be undone. Look what these deep state actors did, and by accident, I don't think they were that smart, and it is not good.
Unfortunately, all too many continue to fight the symptoms like whack-a-mole, rather than understand and seek out the source of the underlying primary disease processes, which are highly orchestrated, well funded and strictly concealed from public view. I’m not optimistic that enough informed patriots exist to properly effect a lasting cure.
Clinton was impeached and won re-election.
....not to put too fine a point on it, but Clinton was reelected in 1996. The impeachment was in the 1998-1999 years, I believe.
Even assuming there were FISAs (not likely), under your rationale of no one knowing about them then no convictions would be overturned because they weren’t part of the criminal case.
Your rationale for not releasing the info because it will affect so many cases does not hold up and is incorrect.
Oh duh, my bad! You’re correct. :-)
GloBULLism sucks. There is no good globalist solution to ANY problem.
No, you aren’t properly understanding them. These weren’t criminal cases, they were anti-terror cases with evidence presented in secret to grand juries. The grand juries are special, all members being read into the FISA program, and they ALL would have known about them.
Every detainee at Gitmo who has a lawyer (i.e., every detainee) would have a motion in front of a judge immediately demanding a mistrial. These would have to be granted if the FISA was used for any part of the arrest or conviction, and all subsequent evidence would be “fruit of the poison tree.”
BTW, Gitmo just expanded-—NOT as “Q” says to accommodate more detainees, but to (as per a court order) allow more secure space for detainees to meet with their . . . lawyers.
