The day after the midterms, Trump tried to paint a rosy picture of the Dem majority in the House, saying he was eager to work with likely Speaker Nancy Pelosi and would sign key legislation even if most Republicans opposed it.
Now his message is far more stick than carrot. As he said in our interview, the new Dem leaders would be unleashing the furies from hell if they engage in “presidential harassment.”
“I will hit them so hard, they’ve never seen a hit like that,” he said, referring to his power to release secret documents, some of which, he hinted, will be deeply embarrassing to Barack Obama’s administration.
“If they want to play tough, I will do it,” he said. “And they will see how devastating those pages are.”
I believe the president should release any such documents now, regardless of their partisan impact. Excessive secrecy serves only to hide official wrongdoing and the lack of transparency fuels public mistrust.
In theory, Trump agrees. But he is fixated on the war, and understandably so because he is fighting for the survival of his presidency.

That right there is the essential truth of the matter. We can surmise, rationalize, debate and/or argue about what got us here, where we're going and what the motivations/rationale are. But at the end of the day, it comes down to who is victorious.
Trump has around 50% of the country behind him. Those are fantastic odds in comparison to the original revolution and ensuing civil war. So, why doesn't he act? I've said before it's one of three possible reasons: he's waiting for the right moment, he cannot (ie he already realizes he's in a lose-lose position), or he will not (never intended).
However it goes down, once it starts, it's on like donkey kong. Either Trump gets the show started, or the globalists regain power in 2020. If that were to happen, good-bye ICE, border, etc and say hello to a literal invasion of the 3rd world. If we think speech suppression is bad in the UK right now, imagine criminalizing a wide swath of "hate speech" against any who speak out. The 2A can be declared illegal, and the police forces can act with impunity (as the FBI continues to this day) against due process.
Anyone with even the slightest clue of what is happening understands the risks. We here discussing these matters keep wondering when the fireworks begin.
(Stinks getting old) I’m in a similar health situation and will also do what is necessary to protect our Republic and it’s constitution and constitutionally elected President.
I don’t feel it should have ever been necessary … but the current Marxists who have taken over the democrat party and many big cities are in need of an attitude correction with extreme prejudice.
I still am hoping for an amicable solution. But I am prepared for the worst.
Completely forgot about all the other stuff. Guess there’s so much corruption and theft that it’s hard to keep track of. It’s disgusting that they do what they do and continue to get away with it.
You make a good point...,let’s not forget that deep state has shot two presidents in the last 50 years.

The left would have done it. But then, they have the entire media on their side.
I also receive Imprimis and the latest “America’s Cold War” is very good. Kesler is a little more optimistic than I am.
Unfortunately many Americans have been conditioned by television. Everything resolved in neat one-hour packages with the bad guys in custody by bedtime. So when Trump gets elected and we don't immediately see Hillary and gang in handcuffs and a 30-foot stone wall from Tijuana to Brownsville, TX we think everything was in vain.
The struggle to take back our country is going to take decades and Trump is only one man. We need to already be thinking beyond Trump and be prepared for the long haul if we truly want to persevere. If we simply have 8 years of Trump only to elect some establishment stooge, everything will quickly return to what it was prior to 2016. The borders will get opened back up, we will sign back on to global warming treaties and the transfer of our wealth to globalist factions will resume in earnest.
This in fact is the true concern all of us should have. That our enemies are simply waiting Trump out, confident in the fact that once Trump leaves office (whether in 2025 or sooner), it will be "back to normal."
We need to make sure that the movement doesn't stop with Trump and we need to stop expecting that Trump is even capable of doing this all on his own.
October would have been better, about 2 weeks after the Kavanaugh crap was taken off by the MSM.
The person that really hurt Trump (and hence the US voters) was Sessions and his recusal. Among the many problems with the Mueller witch hunt is that if he was really interested in Russia interference in the election, he would have to be investigating HRC and the dossier. I have wondered how it could have been set up in the current situation in getting a 2nd special prosecutor had been appointed to investigate the dossier and hence the democraps. This would have had the effect of boxing in Mueller, as a minimum. Of course the MSM and the democraps would scream that it was unnecessary, maybe make Mueller plead that it was his jurisdiction, but with 17 angry democraps on his team, he would be publicly neutered and forced to focus only on Russia and the GOP.

I don't know if he knew of the venom and hatred that would come from the press, but he must have know it was going to be all out war.
That said, I think we all have had our eyes opened more and more over time as to the goals of the Left (i.e. that they want to overthrow the government and replace it with communism).

That statement is a gross exaggeration.
Perhaps there are many that should be released anyway.
