WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM LIFE
"I've learned that although it's hard to admit, I'm secretly glad by parents are strict with me." (Age 14) "I've learned that silent company is often more healing than words of advice." (Age 24) "I've learned that the greater a person's sense of guilt, the greater the need to cast blame on others." (Age 16) "I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you miss them terribly after they die." (Age 53) "I've learned that making a living is not the same as making a life." (Age 58) "I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your work, meeting new people, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you." "I've learned that whenever I decide something with kindness, I usually make the right decision." (Age 66)
"I've learned that when I have pains, I don't have to be one." (Age 82)
"I've learned that I still have a lot to learn." (Age 92)

I'm so sorry about the damage to your home. I hope you can bring things back to "normal" quickly. I have never endured a major earthquake - only a couple minor ones, and it must be am absolutely terrifying experience.
Must retire - work tomorrow at 0700.

Yo radu!
Good weekend here, rainy but warm.
We're suppose to get into the teens next week for lows and below freezing for the highs so Brrrrr time soon.
Went over to see the pups today and just watching College football all day.
'Sup with you?

Howdy, radu! It did finally did die down late this afternoon. It was really strong earlier. I think the kitties were really getting tired of it. Leaves falling everywhere had them running back and forth trying to escape them. LOL!
Sorry it made its way to your house. It’s very annoying and stirs up dust and stuff. Is it raining too?

BRRRRR! You’re going to have much colder temps than we will next week. They SAY lower 40s for highs and 20s for lows but after they botched the weekend forecast, it could be colder.
Did the rain let up for a while so you could spend some time letting the pups blow off steam in the yard?
Rain was kind enough to let up this afternoon so I could get errands run in the dry. Had a line of storms roll through at suppertime and another is getting ready to hit in a few minutes.

Bet the kittehs were happy to be able to breathe better today. No fun with all the dust blowing the past couple of days.
Were they running FROM the leaves or running AFTER them? Ours love to chase the leaves when they zip across the yard. LOL
We had rain this morning, a line of storms roll through earlier, and another round coming now. Not much lightning with this round but there was a lot with the first one. Pull up DH and go back to almost the beginning of the stream. They had the same thing going on at the same time.
