You think itll take hours for that to happen? Youre quite an optimist.
But you still have internet and FR!
I thought the structures in Anchorage would be built to withstand a strong earthquake.
KFQD is live on TuneIn.
Another aftershock just now.
Lots of rockfalls, residents callling in damage reports.
DUTCHSINSE has updates at 10 p.m. every evening or when a major seismic event takes place. His forecasts are quite accurate.

An "expert" was doing exactly that on FOX NEWS. HARRIS FAULKNER clarified that geological events are not weather related. LOL
Yet another aftershock, just now, per KFQD.

Yikes!!!
I would caution them NOT to use the fireplace, because if it is cracked somewhere, the house could go up in flames.
I can’t imagine what it was like to be in that car!
A 6.6 is not a huge earthquake.

Depends on more factors that must that. Depth, for one.
You OK?
“...prompting people to run out of offices and seek shelter under office desks...”
Either a) Alaskans REALLY love being outdoors to work, even if it is an office job or
b) The EQ shook the desks outside.
Parts of Anchorage are built on pretty loose soils - so a 6.6 can do a lot of damage. Prayers up for them - and it looks the cold weather won’t be any help.
Bttt.
