Very good, I have been reading that we are entering into an ice age due to something called a super-solar minimum. So we need to increase the development of our natural resources, especially coal and gas. If the cold becomes extreme enough, we may need to build a lot of green houses to grow food to feed our people, and that is going to require a lot of fuel.
Yeah, I can see those dire warnings everywhere. The weather gets hot and then cold again at inconvenient times. This has certainly never happened before.
If the sun doesn’t start increasing activity in a big way, folks are going to be burning a whole lot of coal, oil and gas to stay warm.

Well let's say $500 billion.
Right now the economy is $20 trillion.
So if we take the estimated losses by the end of the century, and apply them to *today's* economy -- we get 2.5%.
Now, let's apply the sluggish Omoeba growth rate, to the US economy, 2% a year... AND let's call it 2020, not 2018.
By the rule of 72, divide the number 72 by the % growth rate to get the # of years to double. 72/2 = 36. So the economy will have doubled twice, then gone up 50% more than THAT, by the end of the century.
20 trillion x2 (once) x2 (twice) x 1.5 (that last 50%) = 20 trillion x 4 x 1.5 = 120 trillion.
500, 000, 000, 000 / 120, 000, 000, 000, 000\
= 500 / 120, 000
= 5 / 1200
= 5 / 12 * 1 / 100
= 5/12 of 1% of the economy.
BFD.

If Red China and other 3rd world countries don’t seriously cut down on their own industrial pollution (air and water), then why blame the US for so-called “global warming” esp. since we have made tremendous advances in scientific inventions to make coal burning cleaner and safer, the water much more cleaner than before (I’ve worked on Clean Water and Air Acts cases), the capturing of methane gase from oil wells etc for use in heating, etc.
Nothing will appease the Marxist Leftist Know-Nothings except more fried birds due to solar panels, more bird chop-suey due to windmill blades, more waste from used solar panels to the Solyndra Obama-financed scams re solar panels produced at twice the price they were literally fire-sale priced at by the Obama regime (Solyndra gave Obama a lot of money for his election campaigns. Anthropomorphic warming will increase the temperature (mostly in areas which there are lots of anthropomorphs) which is a DAMN GOOD THING because the average temp around the planet is going to lower slightly.
