Saturday on Fox News Channel’s “Justice,” conservative commentator Ann Coulter, author of “Resistance Is Futile! How the Trump-Hating Left Lost Its Collective Mind,” warned that if President Donald Trump failed to fulfill his election promises and get a handle on immigration, it will impact on the Republican Party’s ability to win elections in the future.
Host Jeanine Pirro asked Coulter if some of the promises Trump had made on immigration were really going to happen. Coulter replied by saying it better or Texas and Florida may flip Democrat and limit the GOP’s ability to win future presidential elections.
“But, I mean consider that in Texas alone — look at how close those last two elections were — in Texas and Florida. If either of those ever flip, no Republican ever gets elected president again. Three out of four Hispanics in Texas are under the age of 18. So, each day Trump doesn’t fulfill the immigration promises — his voters are dying off and Democratic voters, Hillary’s voters are registering to vote. So, I hope he keeps his promise. This is why we wanted a wall.”

At this point, I don’t see anything good happening, the media would automatically declare any arrested illegals to be victims and a decent enough number of people would side with them.

Yes, Trump needs to take serious, decisive action. Likely shut the entire border today and leave it shut. Also needs to face down congress and the courts. He is one of three co-equal branches of the government, has constitutional authority, and needs to do more than just post tweets.
Maybe Ann should run for President and show us how its done/s
Trump is President, not king or dictator and has most of the congress against him.
The damned Dems are making sure that President Trump does not fulfill his promises. They will make sure he gets nothing that he wants and will distract him with subpoenas and lawsuits.

The numbers, meaning demographics, in theory, are already in Texas, in 2005, TX became a minority-majority state. What it is, is TX habitually has voter turnout of around 50% versus say, some state like Wisconsin that is usually, well above 60%.
So, I don’t buy that much the argument that illegals will flip TX or FL, the voters aren’t showing up to begin with.

I’m not positive what alone, the President can do beyond what he is doing. Some of this comes down to legislation.
Trump is doing all he can under the circumstances.
Trump is doing everything possible. But judges and Congress are stopping him, instead of helping him.

No he didn't. He should have fired Sessions 6 or 7 months ago. He should have fired Rosenstein 5 or 6 months ago. He should have declassified and released all documents Congress needed to indite Democratic criminals. This is just a few that Trump feared would hurt him. I'm really pissed at Trump.
